Well, the HifiMAN HE400i is supposedly to have a sound signature of both the HE400 and the HE500, almost like a hybrid. (similar to the HE560, whose sound signature has elements of both the HE500 and the HE-6) So I think that the title of the HE400i is apt but in my opinion a better name for the HE400i would be the HE460 since from impressions thus far, it sounds as good as the HE500. However, keep in mind this is my opinion, so feel free to say what you think and believe.

 
I would personally call it HE-450i: "450" because of the sound signature, "i" for folks that need to be ensured it's iDevice-compatible to buy

It's Saturday. I too am greatly looking forward to hearing the HE-400i. Hell, I may plop down some cash on the spot if they're all I hope.

OK, thanks   I was scared that I'd pop up on the wrong day   I'm planning on auditioning the 400i, 560 (updated model, I haven't heard the 560 original in about a month ), the PM-1 (2 if it's there) and maybe the new Aurisonics' Rockets (if they are there).  That's assuming I can get to all that

There will be a handful of impressions flooding in after tomorrow's ChiUniFi meet. I know I personally am really looking forward to this bad boy, can't wait to get some head time with it.
