Ever get the feeling people really hate Canada when it comes to sales?

On a different  note, got my X5 in today, and the how deep the bass reaches with an E12 on Radiohead's No Surprises is actually surprising.  It's quite impressive.  So umm...  Huzzah!

Lol. Got the wrong cable with my used he-400. Got defective velour pads from head-direct. And couldn't buy the hd650 headband to do the mod.

Its OK I bought the beyer one instead. And head-direct is gonna send me a replacement pair.

I've had the HE-400 for a few weeks now. Best $249 I've spent on headphones. Before I got them, I was reading all the reviews about how great the bass was. I thought the bass was okay the first few days. But now, the bass is mind blowing good. Maybe I just had to adjust to the sound. I've never heard disclosure sound so good.

Not gonna be able to use my beloved HE-400s for a few months. Sold my Schitt Magni and Modi for a few reasons (am fine financially now), and rationalized with myself that I always wanted to upgrade anyway. But I won't be able to for awhile, not sure which way I should go now. I enjoyed the Magni and Modi but I think I prefer the tube sound ...

Well, finally got off my butt and put together a desktop setup which I hope is decent.  I'm using a Stoner Acoustic UD110v2 for my dac going to a vintage Pioneer SX-737 which certainly can put some serious bass into these headphones.  I'm only listening at 9 o'clock where 7:30 would be muted.  I'm so used to listening with a Fiio Dap E12 combo that the sound is quite a bit different than I'm used to.  So far though, it can put some amazing bass into the cans, and that's without increasing the bass level.
