The firmware is available for download again, and it looks like it has been updated.
I know that a previous poster indicated that the reasons for releasing 1.1 were not a topic for debate
I downloaded and installed the previous 1.1 and am yet to see any problems.
What reason would there be to download the 1.1 again and install - it seems the released features are the same

There's no HIGH/LOW gain switch in the pull-down screen from the top anymore. That seems odd.

I've got the new 1.1 firmware and I was looking for that after I read your post. In mine it's there, but I have to plug in a set of headphones to un-grey it and be able to toggle from low to high.

Kind of miss the format category, rather see it than album artist. But that's just me. Also, is anyone able to fast scroll using the a-z on the edge of the screen when they're in Artist? It's far too small for me to grab with my finger or stylus. I'm in the largest font. I'm assuming that's what it is. I knew when I got this thing it was going to have its frustrations but I really wonder at the thought process of having only half the screen. I get battery saver, etc. but...anyway, once the DAC warms up on this, worth the minor complaints.:L3000:

Looking forward to the Darwin V2 update.

The bug in 4.4 LO mode is persist in FW 1.1 (mentioned by other member in previous page) where once BAL the line out launched the vol goes high as where it should be, then next track or if I chose other song the vol decrease (and there is sense of double amping). If I want to use LO I need to relaunch the process.

And yet I am happy with the BAL LO ability it make RS2 more awesome and versatile R2R DAP in the market.

To avoid the difference that may be caused by some settings (EQ/MSEB/Gain), please try restoring the factory resetting to play directly to see if it works normally.

For more questions, please email hello@hiby.com. Wish you a pleasant day!

Hi there,

They were not aware of the exact nature of the bug. I believe I have described it for them and for you in the same thread :)

Cheers,
Joe also on facebook :)

Is there a list of compatible SDXC cards for RS2? Hiby keeps silent when I ask them and I already tried Sandisk Ultra 512Gb and they are not compatible with RS2.
You have tried this card with both slots? What about with other devices? I'm not aware of our player picking and choosing cards.
