So true. Not as many people chime in to post praises, more are usually either complaining or asking questions. And as it was already mentioned, non-Android DAPs have less headaches.

Some of the compaints are issues with trying to drive their full size headphones with the tiny RS2 :)

Have now used it with Tansio Mirai Sands, Sony IER-Z1R and JH13 ciem and all sound great although it does not have power enough to drive the IER-Z1R to their best.

I still only have 2 gripes, the processor/ram is not enough to handle browsing a huge library (the track limit of 50.000 is too small but that does not matter since 50.000 is already too much for the player to handle) and in folder mode the number of characters shown per folder (33) is not enough.

Valid complaints. especially after having paid $479 or equivalent. There are some minor issues with the UI - when skipping tracks, the album art has a lag in changing. Hopefully these issues get addressed in the upcoming firmware updates.

Also would appreciate if Hiby or its representative posts some more audio settings to derive more enjoyment from this device. As a compact portable device, RS2 is very good and has a pleasing sound signature

Can you be more specific regarding the pairing of IER-Z1R with RS2? this will be my major usage outdoors.

It sounds good, I just feel that my 1Z or even more my TA desktop amp provides better oomph and control where they don’t really improve with JH13 or Sands, just a different flavour
