On Tidal after R6 Pro mqa firmware update, Mqa albums seems to randomly skip tracks.

And there is no way to get the player to read those tracks. It is determined certain tracks cannot be read.

but how do you recognize what the MQA tracks are ... I don't see any indicators on the display ...

same thing for me too, listening to Tidal ...

It definitely works - i just updated on wireless, version shows as 3.18.71-perf, Mon Apr 20 17:29:39, build 1.86G, and I see the same track in proper MQA at 384K.

My Tidal MQA works, but I can not get back to playing the music files on this DAP. HELP!!!!!!
My opening page has the 5 icons across the near bottom of the screen. The middle one is for HiBy Music. If I select that, I get a screen that says: An Entire New Infrastructure for USB DAC. Also has a graphic showing gears. It is frozen/static. Leads nowhere.

I have since migrated to Amazon Music on a Sony 507 DAP.

but still have the Hiby R6 Pro DAP and may keep the “ole brick” and I still have a W5 somewhere in a drawer.

But actually I am using none of these during this Covid lockdown - just using my Mackbook and over ear headphones at home these days. (With no commuting)

I use my Fiio Bluetooth neckband + iems while on the rowing machine. That’s about as portable as I get. But I listen to podcasts from my iPhone when doing that.

I tried that setting and it changes the android lock screen time but not the lock screen that the hiby app uses during playback (It replaces the android lock screen and is an option in the hiby app settings). For some reason that stays in 24 hour time format no matter what. I can’t find a setting for that one for some reason.

There’s a setting in Hiby Music to use Hiby music lock screen or system lock screen. Otherwise, I don’t see a way to change it either.

I am serious. I can not get this DAP to even play the music I put in it. I can play music using Tidal that I installed, but not the music I installed.
