Same! I just got used to power button usage.I've experienced issues with the double tap as well but have just gotten used to using the power button to wake the device.

Got another bug report. Bluetooth audio in mode is just flat out freaking out whenever i try to use it. I can use bluetooth headphones no issues but connecting to my fold 4 to use as a bluetooth amp is just not wanting to work.

Same here, I don't use this normally but tried when saw your post. Both my Samsung Galaxy Note and Macbook pairs but play nothing (although seems to play in the player).Got another bug report. I'm on latest firmware (1.11).
Also the double-tap to wake screen doesn't seem to respond.
About Hiby Music app, I've noticed that albums with multiple discs show as separate albums in the list (I have the album folder and inside it folders for disk1, disk2, etc)... the discs are properly id3 tagged as well. Another thing is that it would be nice to have a homescreen widget for currently playing, like Spotify/Qobuz have.
Other than this I don't see other issues people are mentioning like clicks and etc, sample rate issues.

Can you show me the cable you are using? Is it from 4.4mm to a pair of XLR?I connected a HiBy R6 III via a pentacon 4.4 mm balanced line to Geneleс G3 (active speakers).
Now I hear constant loud, very loud clicks. Clicks between songs and just like that. They hit on the ears.
Please tell me how to get rid of these loud clicks.

(not that I'm saying these aren't bugs, but just confirming): no clicks while playing through a track, then?Any Application: Tidal, native player Hiby, Radio, like DAC for a computer.
Any turning on or off of music, switching a track or a radio station is accompanied by loud clicks.

After listening more, I can say that I hear loud clicks when:Can you show me the cable you are using? Is it from 4.4mm to a pair of XLR?
if I choose another album to play (there are always clicks at the beginning and end of the album),
when I turn the song on or off, press "stop" and turn on "play",
when I switch programs on the player (for example, I change Tidal to Radio),
This happens every time the player stops or just starts to supply an electrical signal to the active speakers. At this moment there is a loud bang.
Adjusting the volume does not affect the volume of clicks. Consistently loud.
It's even worse when the player is connected to the iMac as a DAC. The cheeks are even louder.

Sounds a little like the amp stage is engaging and disengaging repeatedly. Are you using class a or class ab?After listening more, I can say that I hear loud clicks when:

Class A.

I have found that my R6iii is becoming very slow as I have loaded more music on it. I am only using streaming services (Qobuz, Tidal and SoundCloud) and the R6iii is usually quick to respond if I'm online, but when I try to access the music I have downloaded for offline listening I often have problems if the DAP has not been used for a while.
I first noticed this problem when I chose the 'Restore offline content' option in Tidal and downloaded all the music I've saved on my iPod Touch, it's about 1500 tracks and because Tidal is slow at downloading (but not as slow as Qobuz) I didn't bother doing this until I had the R6iii for a while. I thought something must have gone wrong with the process because it wouldn't play the offline content. I deleted it all and started importing the albums and playlists individually. I found that after about 50 albums, the R6iii would often take between 3 to 6 minutes from pressing play to the music actually starting. Now that I have a similar amount of music downloaded from Qobuz, the same thing is happening with that app. Once it is up and running the DAP becomes snappy again.
I'm using a 512gb Samsung Evo Select micro sd card formatted as portable storage, with 119gb used.
Is anyone else having the same issue? I guess this might be something that only happens with streaming apps, rather than privately owned music stored in the DAP's usual music folder.

I don't (yet) have the R6III, but this is very similar to what I experience with my og R6 Pro. It seems to be much worse lately (I don't recall this issue previously).I have found that my R6iii is becoming very slow as I have loaded more music on it. I don't own the R6iii - someone else may give a better response per their experience. But I think the issue is the micro sd card. The 130 read speed advertised is only for the 64GB Model, this model doesn't particularly have good performance. The player itself may be a bit slow (not as fast as a SD 8 Gen smartphone - but still responsive - a few seconds lag). But if you are having to wait minutes that seems to be the sd card (it slows down the more it's filled). If you try using a spare sd card (if you have one) or use the local storage - do you get similar issues? If not, then you can confirm the issue is with the sd card. Hope this helps somewhat.I have found that my R6iii is becoming very slow as I have loaded more music on it. I have the same experience, I used mine for a while and it got very warm. (good for winter as pocket warmer). and yes it has weight to it.My Hiby R6 Gen3 arrived yesterday. I used it for about an hour last night and I've noticed that it tends to get a bit too hot and has a lot of weight. The sound seems thick and dark to me... but for now I'm not able to judge properly.
Any fast V30 card should do at 512GB, the Samsung Pro Plus (160MB/s), Kingston Canvas Go Plus (170MB/s), SanDisk Ultra (150MB/s). Just look for something in budget/ preference (by brand) that has a fast speed. Go with major brands Kingston, SanDisk, Samsung etc, that have known longevity. And check reviews to see if there are common issues. Also micro SD cards can lose storage (if dropped or damaged) - so always recommended to backup same things on an alternate storage (laptop/ desktop/ hard drive etc). Can you recommend a better card?
