I recently acquired a 2025 R6iii. I like it but it seems to be bricking itself. I have set the R6iii to shut off after 30 minutes of inactivity. Each time it shuts itself off, it will not turn on. I have to hard reset it with the power button and the lower skip track button. When I manually shut off the device, this doesn't happen. Also, the battery dropped from 80% to 20% in the few hours of being unresponsive.

I'm wondering if someone else had this happen.

Has anyone compared sound quality/signature of iBasso DX180 to Hiby R6 III 2025?

I think R6 has less powerful amp output to headphones, but use better quality quad flagship cs43198 dacs.

Trying to decide between the R5 II, the R6 III 2025 and maybe even the original R5. My iems (Sony ier-z1r) enjoy higher powered DAPs. Ayone have any recommendations, I'd love to hear your two cents. The R5 II seems to have a higher power output than the R6 III, no? And the original R5 is the most powerful of the three..
Going back a page here, I see that Polky74 is using an external amp (RA2BFE) with the R6 - z1r set up. So, maybe my question is answered there.

Just received an update for the R6 III (v1.60).
Changelog:

1) Added the Acoustic Edge theme (modify in the display settings).
2) Fixed the issue of excessive delay and random silence in Bluetooth audio input.
3) Fixed the abnormal volume adjustment issue of Bluetooth audio input.
4) Fixed the issue of direct disconnection of some Bluetooth receivers in Bluetooth connection.
5) Fixed the issue where the USB audio input mode was not effective when switched to non-charging.
6) Fixed the crash issue when loading image resources in the system gallery widget.
7) Fixed an issue where the volume window would crash after upgrading the three-button navigation.
8) Fixed several other bugs.

When I set a big font for display global settings, I cannot see a EXIT button when in Bluetooth dongle mode. So it's impossible to exit from that screen, I have to go switch to USB dac mode where exit button appears again, it's quite annoying bug

Hi, until now I've been using KDE Connect to control the Kobuz and Tidal music players from my phone. Since the latest update, I can't pair any devices. My Pixel 7 Pro no longer appears. I've tried other phones, but it doesn't recognize them either.

You can unbloat by using Canta App
Needs another App called Shizuku for help.

But need to be careful as you could deactivate needed functions aswell but theres a description if you can deactivate or not and it's also reversible
