When I listen with Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro (250ohm), or AKG 612 Pro (162 ohm) yes switching to High Gain and Class A (optional) - and then yea you get them at proper level for quality.
Thanks. I can't hear any difference between class A and AB but I'll give High Gain a try and see if it sounds better but drains the battery more quickly.

Forgot to mention that with the AKGs I’m using the 4.4mm output (AKG customised with detachable cable and 4.4mm end). You’re right, between Class A / AB there’s no very noticeable difference, but with balanced 4.4 mm output, there’s some slight difference (or my brain thinks there is). I plan to also mod the BDs to balanced.

Green is faux and brown is real, still like the green. Back side is very cool with the design, but brown real leather scream quality. And that leather smell, and feel in the hand is soft and nice.
But its understandable if you avoid real leather, the business behind it is questionable in many places.
I try to avoid leather as a vegetarian for 40years, so that’s really good to read. On the Hiby site It still checks out saying it’s leather, so I’m glad I have a user perspective as I’m desperate to dump the god awful clear plastic one!

I’m vegan, I messaged hifi go before purchasing the green one and they confirmed it’s faux leather. It doesn’t smell like real leather either.

Hi there.

This morning all of a sudden my R6III did not have any audio output.
Then "System UI stopped responding" a couple times.
I did factory reset, and noticed that some songs are played at like 10x speed (still no sound).

Could be HW issue, I guess.
Will try some extra resets, just in case.

Yup. I've had this issue too. Seems like a buggy OS

Newbie question: I was thinking of getting the Fiio R7 as a streamer to pair to a home theater through the optical jack. Is this something I'd also be able to do with the Hiby R6 III? I'd prefer to have something with Android 12 then 10 (which is what the Fiio has).

You could use the R6G3 connected via Spdif to your home theater. Look for Cayin coaxial cable that plugs into the USB-C port ... I think this one from Hiby does it too:

If you want to use an optical connection, then the Hiby CR06 dock might be the way to go. I use one and it’s a tidy way of connecting the R6 to my hi-fi.

Does anyone who have Hiby R6iii having bleed light that fade away after 15 - 20 minutes playing around with screen on?
Mine started after 3 days usage.

I mean like all the production having this or some ? If there is some lucky buyer dont have this problem meaning I got Lemon or defect product.
This screen quality is sucks, any Hiby personal in here?

Even $50 cheap phone don't have this kind of screen.

Is it hardware or firmware?

you can see on page 12 on this thread, It's the same like that, BobbyTBrown already posting it.

This is happen if ur screen is Off more than 15 minutes, and if On that bleed start over again. On first day I got this unit, it wasn't like that.

The sample on my photo is the better one, because I already playing around, it could get bigger if screen off for more than 1 hour , I think it's not bleed, more to uneven ring of pixel that impact to the edge, but strange it become normal or all back perfect after 20 minutes screen on.
