Maybe you have change a setting for coax ,the Hiby R6 was like that as well. The R6 2020 just works.
Where I would find this configs in HiBy R6 2020?
I'm sorry to hear that. Can I ask what cable you're using, and do you have it plugged into the coaxial input on that unit? (since it does have both an input and output of the same type)

I tried this Hiby Coaxial cables in the correct coaxial in at my Shanling EM5 and norhing works. With other devices I can get audio in Shanling, only Hiby R6 doesn't works.

Well it would only be the USB-C to RCA cable that may work. The other one would have been for the original R6 / R6 pro (before 2020). Then, if that one doesn't work,

1. Do you have any other cables plugged into the R6 2020 at the same time?
2. What is the output sample rate shown on the R6? Is it one that is supported by the Shanling?

Best regards,
Joe

Basic question, but how can I use the USB C port to connect the Hiby to USB C headphones for audio? Is this possible?

Thanks!

Depends on your headphones functionality but you should just be able to directly connect to the usb port.

Has anyone encountered the volume maxing out when connecting and disconnecting headphones? It's caught me by surprise a couple times now and it never used to do this.

The headphones use USB C to USB C to connect to my cellphone just fine, but i couldnt seem to get them to do that with the Hiby R6. They just started charging instead.

Might be a USB setting that needs to be enabled, I tried it again with the Mobius and it worked fine.

Follow up, I have this enabled and it lets me play audio from Hiby music. But i don't get audio playback from any other player.

When HiByMusic has exclusive USB audio access one wouldn't expect any other app to have audio output. But you did not have audio output from any other app before this was enabled?

Correct. It went from no output to just HibyMusic. I have audio output enabled in USB settings so I don't know what the issue is.

The last version of Amazon Music (22.14.4) has compatibility problems with the HiBy R6, because Dolby Atmos songs can be played as if the R6 had Dolby! However, many 24 bit / 48 kHz songs are played only at 16 bit / 44.1 kHz. I have tried to downgrade to older versions (17.15.6 as it seems to work on the R5) and most songs are upsampled at 192 kHz! Anyone can help me? Thanks 👍🏻
