Did you not research and learn what the R1 offers and what it does not before purchasing? Or did you buy blindly and pray all your needs would be fulfilled? And then you bitch to Hiby about options that are not there to fit your needs before confirming? I am just trying to understand where you are coming from and I am sure Hiby would appreciate the insight?

I have Fiio Snowsky echo mini which is 2 cheaper and I bought it just 4 fun. And I like Fiio's support much more because they do something and they don't give a f.. to their customer.
And I have Hiby W3ii .. It's awesome but I won't tell anybody that it's defective thing ( not my unit). Any unit gonna die in 6 months or so.. But I'm still here with Hiby and ..... I believe you get it.

After downgrading back to 1.3 from 1.4 after issues with my Sony earbuds, I've had more drop-outs in signal, lol. Is it a feature or a bug to disconnect the bt after about 1 minute of not playing music? Also, has anyone in this thread really experimented with the radio.txt streaming with this device? I've had less than stellar performance but it could be related to streaming FLAC stations.

Try to reset. Sometimes it helps. My fiio btr15 sometimes work awesome and sometimes not. Today I was updated to 1.4 and Bluetooth lags/ freezes as hell.
Radio.txt works fine with .mp3 streams but never tryed flak stream ( is it exists?!)

To be fair the R1 advertising material when I bought it did not specify that it was one way Bluetooth or that it would not function as a DLNA library, only a player. So I, for one, was a little disappointed that it did not do that.

I am looking for a device to play digital music, via Bluetooth, to my car audio.
1) Looking for someone to confirm that this dap can be used while charging.
2) if this is not a good option, what other dap will you recommend?

My player has a problem with deleting folders with files. They are deleted, but if you exit and enter again, the deleted folder is still there and the files in it are available for playback. But some are deleted normally. Has anyone encountered this?

How many and how big are your folders. It sounds like the delete process did not fully complete before you checked. Give it a bit longer, they do not delete immediately as the CPU is not the same as a PC.

Сколько и насколько велики ваши папки. Похоже, что процесс удаления не был полностью завершен до того, как вы проверили. Дайте ему немного больше времени, они не удаляются немедленно, поскольку процессор не такой, как ПК.

Folders are not large. It can even be one album in mp3, about 100 MB
