Anyways, I've done more conclusive testing with the battery and I've found that the M300 charges 0 to full in just about an hour

Seriously impressive for how long this thing lasts. Although definitely using an external DAC or primarily watching/playing will drain this much faster. 5 hours-ish. I'll test that next.

I was almost quick to dismiss the XOE as just any other generic in-ears paired with a music player, then I thought of what its intended target was.
Fundamentally, the XOE is the perfect commute pair with the M300. It's bass is unfaltering in quantity which may be obsurd in critical listening, but is justifiable in a noisy environment.

Its fit is also impeccable. Bullet style IEMs have personally always just been more comfortable than hook style in-ears. However, the XOE also boasts an insanely stable and deep fit that any accidental tugs bore no effect to its seal.

I have to reiterate that this really is not an "audiophile" in-ear. An absurd amount of bass paired with a scooped midrange make this quite mediocre sounding. But I don't think it was meant to be an audiophile product to which, this is a damn good free IEM

Just updated the promo material for the M300 on this thread! Added the spec sheet for the M300 as well.

I'm thinking if I should make a review thread of the XOE now too hahaa
Just review it in the bus, or throw it under the bus, your choice, :D

That's interesting : if not the audiophile , what is the target of this type of product ?
