Looks nice, if it provides audio quality of HiBy R3 Pro (original) that would be perfect daily Walkman-style DAP.

Yeah for me to… if that also means the output would be 206mW… else it will be IEM only…This would have been an instant buy for me if it was 4.4mm

Balanced is not essential for listening and as it means more cost and size, but as many IEM owners now have 4.4mm termination on cables...
Can I use HiBy R3Pro Saber 2022 as USB DAC with M300? I.e. M300 as source and R3ProS as DAC with 2.5 balanced output. Has M300 utilised bit perfect playback via external USB DAC?

When it is confirmed—it is very likely—that the M300 can act as a “digital transport” (“digital turntable” is another term) then yes, you could do that. Can I use HiBy R3Pro Saber 2022 as USB DAC with M300? But what does the M300 bring that can’t be done with the R3 alone?

M300 offers full Android. R3 does not. That's a VERY major difference. When it is confirmed—it is very likely—that the M300 can act as a “digital transport” (“digital turntable” is another term) then yes, you could do that.

To me it seems M300+DAC R3ProSaber2022 (or other USB DAC with two ES9219C) == M3X but with advantage Android 13.
And another question I have. Has M300 support UAT bluetooth codec? If it's not, will it be add in future with firmware update?

Does the M300 not resample before output? That's quite a big bummer. To me it seems M300+DAC R3ProSaber2022 (or other USB DAC with two ES9219C) == M3X but with advantage Android 13.

Yes. I'm personally using the R3 II as a wired DAC with the M300 and it works fine. Can I use HiBy R3Pro Saber 2022 as USB DAC with M300? I.e. M300 as source and R3ProS as DAC with 2.5 balanced output. Has M300 utilised bit perfect playback via external USB DAC?

You can refer to @Joe Bloggs's explanation here it explains how and why it resamples when not using an external DACDoes the M300 not resample before output? That's quite a big bummer.

Ok, if you want an Android DAP, the M300 is a (very) interesting offer. But if you have a R3 already, and want Android, why not connecting the R3 directly to your Android phone (OTG USB, BT, or WiFi DLNA)? What does the M300 brings that you can’t get with any cheapo Android phone connected to the R3?M300 offers full Android. R3 does not. That's a VERY major difference.

Can I teather this DAP to my iPhone so it can get data for streaming apps and what not?

What are the differences (android and 4.4mm balance apart) between M300 and R3 II?
