Hello!

I purchased the KZ ZS10 PROs and though I love them they are very fatiguing. I used them about an hour each day for travel and they hurt my ears outside and in.

someone recommended the Tin T2s to me, said they were identical in sound and more comfortable. Comfortable yes. But the sound is not at all the same. They are 30% lower in volume and no sub bass. They just don't "wow" me like the KZs.

I'm getting tired of sending headphones back and forth on Amazon so I'm here to ask if anyone can please help me find IEMs that sound like the ZS10 PROs but are way more comfortable. my price range is the same $50 - $70.

Thanks for your help!

Hi friend, I use the KZ ZS10 Pro as my daily commuting driver and I do find more comfort by changing ear tips rather than using the stock ear tips (I specifically use spinfit CP 100 eartips). Other than these tips being more comfortable, they also provide better isolation. I also use an aftermarket cable with a chin/neck cinch and pull up the cinch all the way to the neck, so that the IEMs are supported there rather than hanging from the ear as support. So far I can use the ZS10 Pro for half a day with no issues in comfort. YMMV.

There are some releases from the CHIFI companies that are newer than the ZS10 Pro, and they include the KZ ZSX, the CCA C12 and TRN V90. Maybe u can check out reviews about them or ask at the dedicated thread on headfi: https://www.head-fi.org/threads/chinese-asian-brand-iem-info-thread.820747/
The reviews for these new IEMs say they are somewhat similar in tuning to ZS10 Pro, but are improved and more refined than the ZS10 Pro.
I don't personally own these so best u can ask them about the comfort level (I did read a few accounts that the KZ ZSX is more uncomfortable due to the larger shell and longer nozzle).

thank you! I will post my question over on that thread but I think I'm going to give the ZS10 PROs another shot and like u said change the tips and the cable it came with is garbage. can you tell me which cable you replaced yours with?

My first choice were the ZSX but like you said I noticed they are huge and I would never be comfortable walking around with those on. Too bad though cuz I know they probably sound amazing!

The KZ ZS10 Pro uses para C cables which are different from the usual straight cable connectors (para A and B) - u can read more here in this very helpful post by @Slater :

Having said that, I bought a para A/B type cable (nicehck 8 core copper cable at less than $10 USD on aliexpress, it can be 7 USD during sales). This cable does stick up a bit but is perfectly usable on ZS10 Pro. And it is more compatible with other IEMs too in case u wanna use it on others.
Some people don't believe in cables making a difference in sound, some do. I personally find this 8 core copper cable does lower the treble in some very sensitive IEMs by a small bit. YMMV.
