I'm trying to make a decision but don't have the expertise to do so. So I turned to head-fi!!!!

My dad bought me a 200 dollar gift card for Barnes and Noble for graduation (don't ask me why). But anyway, I only want to spend that money on a pair of over ear full sized head-phones. There list of head phones is relatively vast, and I don't have the first clue which brands are crap and which aren't.

I listen to all types of music, but I'd still love a pair with a good bass sound.
I don't want to spend any money out of pocket either.

Here's the link for the list.

Thank you, any help would be appreciated.

Wow, what a terrible selection. I went through every page too lol. And all the prices are 30-60% more than Amazon. Oh well. I would buy this:

And sell the remaining gift card balance on eBay.

Heya,

There are some Sennheiser HD518's on there in your price range. Also, some various low end Audio Technica stuff, except an ESW9A but it's out of your budget. Also some little Sony's.

HD518
A700's
V6's

Those are the only ones in your budget that I'd consider personally. Of them, I'd get the V6. The other two are not that great for the ridiculous price hike they have.

Use the other $100 on some books, music or movies or something.

Very best,
