Recently, one of my ear buds have broken, sound completely gone from it, and am in search of something better then cheap 5 dollar ones. I'm looking for something that would be able to not have a crackly sound, best way to describe it, when I listen to Heavy Metal and switch to heavy bass ladded Techno Music then the Screamo. Price isn't too much of an issue, though I really wouldn't want to spend more then  five-hundred dollars on a pair. I've heard Grados would be well suited for it, but I know there are others that may or may not be better suited. Any recommendations or advice would be great!

List of some of the bands/people I listen to for example:
Slipknot
Metallica
Iron Maiden
Blood on the Dance Floor
Dj Wanx
I am X-ray
Dj Elektron
Dj Tico
Aiden
Abandon All Ships
Guns 'n' Roses
Queen
Whitechapel
Job for Cowboy
Black Veil Brides
Bullet For My Valentine
ect..ect..ect...

Thanks again!

Here are some suggestions for ya:

Audio-Technica ATH-AD900, A900

Alessandro MS1i, MS2i

Sennheiser HD595, HD598

Ultrasone HFi-580, HFi-780

All of these options run well from portable sources, though I would lean more toward the Alessandros as they have a more neutral(relatively speaking) sound signature compared to regular Grados.

A900's would be best, for OP. but HD598's wouldn't be that bad.

The A900 are closed and more bassy

the HD598's are more clear and detailed mids and highs

I think the Sennheiser HD25-1 II also is a good choice

too balanced
He wants a headphone to compliment his music. HD25-1 ii are good for someone like me, who listens to a lot of stuff and don't want to trade out headphones.

You should look into the Denon AH-D1100.

They are great with rock in general and also electronic music.

Very comfortable too.
