I have no allegiance to any of my gear, but my ATH-AD1000s would be hard to let go of unless they're replaced with PRMs or 2000s...

Koss Pro DJ 100. It's the one headphone I'd pick if I had to only stick with one headphone.
It really deserves to be as well known as the Porta Pro and KSC75. Almost nobody seems to have given the DJ100 a try or heard of it.
I guess Koss isn't making them easy to find. I think only Best Buy and JR sells them. That's a bad idea..
In the under $200 category that's somewhat portable, I haven't found anything better..yet.
AKG K240 and HD-598 are close.
