My choices are the following:
Sony MDR-V6 50 dollars
Sony MDR-V900HD - 50 dollars
Audio Technica ATH-M40FS - 90 dollars
Audio Technica ATH-M50 - 136 dollars
Ultrasone PRO 650 - 170 dollars

For reference I'm using AKG 271 MK2 right now. I like them but I want more bass and punch in the bottom. And the soundstage could be bigger. Everything else with them is fine. My Amp is a T.C Electronic soundcard with plenty of juice.

Thank you so very much darlings !

Most would probably recommend either the Ultrasone or to slide up and get the ATH-M50 instead.

"Slide up"? The ATH-M50's are 140 dollars and the Ultrasone's are 170 dollars.

I meant the ATH-M50 gets a lot more love around here than pretty much any headphone.  I've never heard anyone say anything about the ATH-M40.

I see. That's pretty funny because a guy said that the M40FS's are a lot better in the bass than M50's. Oh well. The mystery continues...

I use sennheiser hd 280's paired with a Cmoy BB 2.20 (w/bass boost) to play e-drums. I think I read that the cmoy BB was designed with the 280's in mind. The 280's can be found for 90 and the amp is 65.

I do not want headphones that sit on-top of the ears. The ears must be fully sealed.

Basically I want this: Closed headphones with nice soundstage, with a lot of bass. Very comfy and good isolation from outside noise (the drums). Max price: 200 euro Hit me!

Edit:
Could the Ultrasone PRO 750 be the headphone I'm looking for?  It's a bit expensive but I think it's okay.
BUT I can't find any specs for the isolation in comparsion with the AKG 272's.. I do NOT want less isolation than the 272's maybe some dB's but not more... Thank you guys :)
