Hi,
Recently my AKG K44 broke . weird stuff - the driver stopped working completely (i,e - no sound at all) although there is no problem with the wiring - i opend up and checked with a multimeter.
Anyway, Im not an audophile, but do care for sound better that say, 2$ Coby headphones.
Any suggestions for cheap headphones for home use (up to the price of Sennheiser PX100 - Im not posting a price in numbers because I dont live in the US) that would be:
1. comfortable. I dont wont headphones that will make my head turn into a cucumber.
2. closed. I don't think there is any difference between 2$ headphones and 1000$ ones, if 98% of the sound is car and street noise.
3. as balanced as possible. I dont need bass that will make my ears explode, but tinny bass wont do either.
I know my budget isn't high (what can you do, I am a cheap person) but I would like the best 'phones in this price area.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
