It wasn't a sighting per se, but I was at a graduate school/post doc reception for a big biomedical engineering conference and a woman mentioned that she uses Philips headphones (Philips has an ultrasound research division near the area).

I thought earpods sounded like pooh. 
I think they're the same driver as the ibuds (or whatever they're called), but mounted sideways to tune the bass and throw the sound straight down your ear canal.

Indeed, they sound superb! Crystal clear sound; would have use them as part of my portable rig but if only they sit in my ar without having me to adjust it once in awhile + some extra isolation

If you want to see well-thought-out implementation of headphones in a TV show, Nashville is a very good show to watch. All of their music-related scenes and songs have significant involvement from country-music executives, songwriters, and recording engineers, so you'll almost always see a T50RP, MDR-V6, or ATH-M50 in a studio environment on the show.

If there's such thing, I will stay up late to watch it xD WE SERIOUSLY NEED ONE! Like talk about audio science in terms of headphone and speaker, then some introduction on some headphones [not B***s].
 
I'm going to flag waving tomorrow in the capital city of my country. Let's see what I can find tomorrow! Bringing my XBA-4 tomorrow, just maybe my friend wanted to try it or possible buying mine [I love my Grado too much hehe ]
