Went to Chicago for the week I was hoping to see some high end cans but I had not luck all beats

You'll have better luck in Europe or Asia; I've only ever seen high-end stuff in America when I was in New York. When I travel overseas, I almost always see some mid-fi gear.

two pairs of marshall major
3 pairs of sony zx200 (one blue, the others red)
monster diesel vektor
dr dre beats pro
and an advert for monster executives which made me smile
it had a picture of the executives and next to it it said "the sound of first class" at this point I laughed inwardly because I had just been on a train and it had been about 11:00pm, it had stank of sweat which no-one could really help and there was so much noise!!! So I thought, definetely the first class that I just saw

Last week I saw a teenage boy wearing a Sennheiser HD500.
It was mildly confusing but a refreshing change.

Woah...I saw a guy with a Grado RS-series on campus near the bus stop. :0

Congrats on 5000 posts! Where was this sighting?

It was just at the university I go to. At least he kinda maybe knows what high-end audio gear is like.

Oh and I saw a Beats Executive for the second time while walking to my destination from a bus stop. Someone had a HD280 at the same bus stop too.

I saw a guy with V-Moda around ear cans. I am not sure which model is it since their both over ears are looking quite alike. Anyway to me, they looks nice but sounds ''unfortunately'' horrible (talking about M100). The plates on his cans were probably some default stuff. Silver like metal and quite shiny.

The funny thing is, these cans are pretty hard to find/purchase in Europe. Maybe he was somebody on holiday in here.
