I was at a friends house listening to some vinyls(he is an "audiophile" too, but upsets me with his $500 turntable running to a vintage $700 Marantz running into some absolutely horrid sony tower, they were making a screeching sound that had nothing to do with the music. and his FLAC's out of skullcandy's). I went on his computer and showed him the K1000 after he shows me a $1000 dollar audio product he wanted, i said their name and his little brother(11) heard me, and said his friend had them, and his parents got him them for christmas. I stood blankly at him for a few minutes, turns out his friends just rich not a serious audiophile.
Anyway not a visual spotting but thought it would be relevant nonetheless.
BTW if you are young, live in the Inland Empire, and own the K1000 i'd like to rob... uhh talk to you about them.(In seriousness a mini-meet would make me happy)

I didn't see them but at work i was speaking to a guy playing with his white iphone and he noticed my sennheiser hd25 1 II. He told me they were great headphones, I asked how much he thought they were worth. He said $300. I asked how do you know. He said he was looking into getting a pair but settled on the turbines. Of course the $300 was the futureshop price without the sale. I got mine for $199.
 
So he had turbines and he was seemingly educated about headphones. Win right there.

Looking through the comments on the beats picture i am happy to say there is educated people on there. Then again there is so many brainwashed people as well.
