Also i was watching the movie "Until the light takes us" and noticed Mr. Fenriz is a supporter of the Portapros on a train

Seeing them in bands don't really count! But now that you mention it, I don't think I've even seen customs at the concerts I go to. Probably cause they are relatively low key indie stuff. Haha. Female vocalist + guitar, I don't really know if they need customs...

At the rave I went to last night, saw some audiophile grade headphones used. Shure SRH750 DJ's, Beyer DT770 Premiums, Senn HD25's, Sony MDR-V700's. and of course the usual Pioneer HDJ1000 and 2000's.

The Xone 53 is overlooked around here, IMO. They pulverize the M50 (EDIT: And HDJ 1000) and are roughly the same price ~150-175. My favorite headphones I used to DJ with.

I consider the HDJ1000 as a bass head can, the highs sound terrible. I have no idea why people use them for mixing lol.

Highs are bad. Build quality is terrible...I have no idea why anyone owned it at all.

Agreed, haha.

I <3 my Ultrasone DJ1's. Solid for mixing, used to use AKG K81 DJ's for a while, those things were sturdy.

My live mixing choices are the Xone 53 and HD 25-1 II. Critical mixing choice is actually the HDJ2000 as I find it the most neutral of the 3..
