Some girl walked into the computer lab with some bose around ears, and some skullcandys around campus...

In the last week I've been through the DFW, Rochester, and Cleveland airports, and I saw nothing but iBuds and Bose on-ears...including my g/f who was wearing her iBuds. I was wearing my HD-25-SP IIs.

Not much of an improvement over iBuds

Saw someone with what I think were CX250s today.

I saw Grados today, didn't have the time to check the model number (I'm pretty sure they were SR60s because of the pads).

A guy at my school walking around with a pair of Sennheiser HD438.

Another guy in my class wearing Grado 325's

Best of all... some older dude at my school, with a Macbook, amp, and Grado PS-1

Besides that, a bunch of Beats and Skullcandy, I'm rockin' my Shure SE530 for now.

Hey, I'm new to Head-Fi, so I thought this would be a good post to get started on.

At my school, I see a lot of terrible iBuds and a lot of Skullcandy, JVC, etc... There are a few Bose In-Ear and Beats by Dre tour headphones too. I've also seen 2 people with Bose QC15. The most "audiophile-like" phones I've seen was a guy wearing the HD555.

My friend has the QC2, but I keep telling him that they aren't the best. He just likes them because of the noise canceling. I personally use my ADDIEM.

The only headphones I saw worth mentioning is a KSC-35 and a 75. But sadly, I'm the one who show one of them where to buy the 35 and lend the 75 to the other one.

It's insanely difficult to see someone wearing half-decent headphones here in Ho Chi Minh....

Once I come to school with my Ipod Strapped to my D4 and one guy said: "Dude, you bring a portable charger with you?"

There are two guys at my university with Grados: SR80 and SR225.

One person has a Sennheiser...HD 595, I think.

And of course a few BOSE headphones, mainly Triports.

I've had a few people come up to me asking about my headphones, I don't know if they are audiophiles or just curious but I try to be polite. Normally though it kind of makes me nervous. I've had people ask me about my Technics DH1200's (although that's a given those things are like bling shiny). I don't really get many compliments on my e2c's when I had them (I have long hair so they were well hidden). Normally though I think it's guys just trying to hit on me and they see the first thing (headphones). I usually get more attention for my shoes Vibram Five Fingers: Discover the Barefooting Alternative

To get back on track of the topic, I've seen a lot of people where I work using Senns and one or two skull candy. However there was someone from another building who had some AKG's and I almost made a fool of myself as I craned my neck into his office and almost banged my face into the open door...okay I did make a fool of myself cause I did bang into the door.
