What about the K545?

 
It sounded kind of wonky to me in the same way the K550 did, but admittedly less so. Actually, the main appeal to me with the K550 is that it was pretty easy to find for around $110, and I'd be able to deal with the sound signature faults for that little amount of money. But I haven't found a K545 under $150, which is the point at which I get stingy.

I saw someone wearing a set of solid black CIEM's today with a black twisted cord and quite a hefty molded connector like my SE535's. Absolutely no markings on the CIEMs... First time I've ever really seen someone wearing some higher end gear out in public. I wonder if he noticed my SE535's haha & if he is a member here.

That kid's going places... In front of the computer browsing Head-Fi is certainly a likely place.

Anyways, over the past week or so I've been seeing quite a few pairs of SE535's on trains. Also saw a guy with a pair of HF5's, another guy with a pair of V-Moda's (not sure which model, because they all look really similar to me). And then there's this guy in my school with a pair of what looks like green custom IEMs with green and white cables.

Also, I once saw a woman pull out a pair of UM3X from a bag (yes, without any case) by its cables, and then proceed to untangle it by pulling the wires (like what most people do with their earpods or samsung earpieces). Deep inside I was cringing and I swear I heard the cables screaming for help.
