A person was not only wearing bose headphones at uni today, he was also wearing a bose shirt.

saw someone at the University of Maryland with grado 225s last week. i was pleasantly surprised. other than that just a bunch of bose and apple headphones

at UCLA, ive only seen a grado (sr-60 or sr-80, couldnt get close enough, dining hall). only other good stuff i saw are shure se530. rest are all bose, ibuds, and dr. dre. if anyone looking for me, look for someone walking around with sleek audio SA6 with klipsch image tips

Lots of iBuds, iBud replacements (cheap in ears that replaced frayed iBuds), Skull Candy, one HD202, one Grados S125 (One of my friends owns this, but then again he's a a theatre tech), one HD280, and some shure IEMs. All of the people that own Sennheisers and Grados I know personally, so I guess they aren't sightings.

Part of this reason I think that there's so much proliferation of Bose and Dr. Dre, etc., is that that's all they have at Apple stores, the epitome of marketing hype. I think when people try those on at Apple stores they're initial reaction would be, "OMG THEY SOUND BETTER THAN MY HIGH QUALITY APPLE EARBUDS = AWESOME"
I'm pretty disgusted by the presence of Bose at Apple stores, I wonder how much they paid Apple for that...

finally see something that isn't a stock headphone and it turns out to be some $20 koss phones from walmart

i'm starting to think there are no other head-fiers in Evansville IN

Why do this bose thing never get old around here? It´s like I would pull duke nukem forever jokes for the next 30 years or something and it would still be funny

AD700s, PX100s, HD415s, HD555s, HD280s, KSC-75s and countless HD201/202s.

Heaps in Auckland University it seems.

Im not much of an audiphile so I don't know what grados/other relatively uncommon audiophile headphones look like - probably lots of those too.
