Here is what you might see at my school:
 
iems: Klipsch x10, monster isports, B&W C5, beats, ibuds, Heaven IV, ue600
headphones: HD598(in studio), sony xbass, sony x, crap load of beats, Denon AH-600, turtle beaches, ATH M50
 
and if you walk into my dormroom, you will see AD700, SRH940, DT1350, HD598, X20, SE535, and a UERM.
I think I've turned some of my friends into semi-audiophiles. I even convinced one of my friend to buy a AH-600! 
 
Anyone else seen this many headphones at a school?

The Heaven IV is quite an unusual find for the mainstream consumer market. You're lucky you get HD 598s in your studio, I only get ATH M-30s

I've never seen iHome earphones. Interesting. What country is your school at? I've never seen a fanny wang in the states.

Yuck so that's what the iHomes look like I see 20+ at my school as well in Oregon.  I also see 3-4 that look the same but they say sharper image.  They look so so cheap, I don't want to imagine how they sound.

One can drive to the local pharmacy and get a pair of the ib40.

Ugh, don't even get me started on the ib40. I don't even see why anyone would buy them! They easily sound worse than the apple earpods, and they are one of the ugliest headphones I've ever seen.

On another note, with all the mentions of beats by dre in this thread, I thought this was worth sharing

I've never heard them. Are they worse than the MDRZX100?

He breaks them so easily. A good pair of headphones wouldn't break like that.

trust me, you don't want to hear them. I've never heard the MDRZX100 though, are they also pretty bad?

They're pretty much what you would expect from cheap plastic on ear headphones. Flimsy, uncomfortable, no seal, poor bass, mediocre detail, poor isolation, overall just kinda suck.
