Hi,

I am currently looking for a new pair of headphones as portables to my Ipod Classic. I am split between the Pioneer HDJ-2000s and the Ultrasone DJ-1s. I am not a dj, just a college student that listens to music all day and wants very quality sounding phones. Some people have told me that the headphones will not sound very good or not perform to their fullest if plugged into an Ipod because the Ipod does not have enough power. I have read up on Impedance levels and resistance and have been confused by which is better, higher or lower? Basically, all I want to know, is that if I purchase one of the two of these headphones, that they will work, and sound better than my Audio Technica ATH-PRO5 MS'. Thank you!

My budget is $100-$200. I like mostly everything, recently I have been listening to a lot of reggae, but also, trance, dubstep, drum and bass and electronic. Very heavily bass influenced music. Would you recommend these two headphones for use with just an ipod?
