I friggin love Today is the Day.  In the Eyes of God is masterpiece by them.  Essentially the sound of pure chaos and nihilism put to music.

Another grind band worth listening to is Gronibard. Their later albums get progressively more silly, but their self titled debut is ridiculously good.

Which albums of Prong's were grindcore?  I always knew them as a heavy rock band.  My interest is piqued.

well.  their first three records aren't all that different from, say, Carcass' Swangsong album.
so, who knows what its called.
i guess it's more like groove core or something.
anyway, Beg To Differ is pretty great.

Have you listened to Dead by april? They are a mix of metalcore...some say they are post-harcore. 
They have only 1 album, but they are amazing...
