I just gave you a suggestion above on how to try. It's difficult to give specific advice.I’ve certainly been searching & asking others ……So far no solution

Sell the DAC. Buy a record player. Be happy.I’ve certainly been searching & asking others ……So far no solution
It tried to find the LMS UPNP app in order to try your setup...but did not succeed??No, I use LMS UPnP plugin and stream locally and from Tidal.
I saw earlier that you suggested Orange Squeeze app for LMS but as far as I understand you need at LMS server in front of the R26 which is yet another box and not using R26 directly as a NAANo, I use LMS UPnP plugin and stream locally and from Tidal.
LMS is short for Logitech Media Server and it is usually installed on a PC or NAS. Since the R26 don't have the LMS built-in (yet?) I must use a plugin for UPnP for the R26.
I think it would be too complicated to begin with LMS etc.
I would suggest removing all boxes and stuff around the R26 and place the R26 as close to the router as possible. Use a simple headphone amp to check if it streams well. The best is to do it in another room free of all kind of electronic stuff. Use simple CAT5-6 cables. If you use a laptop, connect it to another wall outlet if possible.

I use the NAS for other things, too. It sits in another room. I have used that kind of setup for over 15 years now. It is possible to add LMS to the R26. That's why I hang around here to see if the guy from South Korea tries it.I saw earlier that you suggested Orange Squeeze app for LMS but as far as I understand you need at LMS server in front of the R26 which is yet another box and not using R26 directly as a NAA

I took delivery of my Gustard R-26 last week I’m thrilled with the upgrade in sound it brought to the table . Interesting I did borrow the Musician Aquarius dac I almost bought it reading the hype about it though I am so happy I decided on the Gustard . I think your right about some retail prices whatever the market will bare pull a price out of thin air for it . How come you have all this stuff are you a dealer ? Thanks I find your comments interesting.Sure it’s no surprise however when you have several front ends available why not directly compare , you can more easily find said components performance ceiling generally what’s missing. A more appropriate dac on hand is the Musician Aquarius the owner told me he bought it for $2400 new current price is $2800-$3200 however these retail prices are meaningless to me , what ever the market will bare slap a price on it ,.what I heard I find the Aquarius dynamic flat sounding and dull directly compared to the r26 , it was obviously so much better top to bottom with heft .
edit *I am familiar with the May KTE i was an early adopter when it hit the market and owned it for almost a year , I have become very familiar with the sound of the R26 I’ll revisit comparisons again possibly other dacs in the under 4k category from a friendly dealer . I have a Dark Night clock coming I’ll try with the Gustard , who knows what may happen , could be a dud however there is no better substitute then actually trying things out .

Yes so another box..so we/I don't know if it is the bubbeUPNP or limitations in R26 that makes the short pauses in music.I use the NAS for other things, too. It sits in another room. I have used that kind of setup for over 15 years now. It is possible to add LMS to the R26. That's why I hang around here to see if the guy from South Korea tries it.
PS:I have short and shielded LAN cables and good throughput.

I know from the UPnP plugin in LMS that there are several settings that affect how gapless and other info works at the endpoint. I don't think it's a limitation in the R26, but rather a combination of the involved units/software that isn't talking well. Matching, matching and matching are the three most important aspects of high freq transmission, said my teacher in electronic communicationYes so another box..so we/I don't know if it is the bubbeUPNP or limitations in R26 that makes the short pauses in music.

Zombie now recommending more boxes. What happened Z?!? Did you catch that “confirmation bias” and “audio nervousa”?!?I know from the UPnP plugin in LMS that there are several settings that affect how gapless and other info works at the endpoint. It's not "more boxes" as the user already has another streamer box (with a separate PSU = two boxes?) And I didn't tell him to get a NAS/LMS, I just mentioned my own setup. Close but no cigar.Zombie now recommending more boxes. What happened Z?!? Did you catch that “confirmation bias” and “audio nervousa”?!?

I have also tried to play with buffer/timers and it is set to gapless on bubbeUPNP no difference.I know from the UPnP plugin in LMS that there are several settings that affect how gapless and other info works at the endpoint. When I use Audirvana latest version that can stream to LAN and therefore to R26 lan input on a Windows 10 box with minimal cpu power then there are no dropouts/pauses...but the sound is not as good at with bubbeUPNP directly to R26.
Still no clue to where the limitation is

Thanks Looseleaf , No I’m not a dealer I belong to a group of music enthusiasts we trade components occasionally though lately I’m a little overwhelmed one guy in our group is more of a component enthusiast constantly flipping I think music is secondary, I recently bought the Accuphase integrate from him .I took delivery of my Gustard R-26 last week I’m thrilled with the upgrade in sound it brought to the table . I work from home Im able to listen to my system an average of 7 hours a day 5 days a week ,….who could possibly get away with that being married with a young family, no one i know , So I’m asked whadda think after a good long listen.
Sure my office system isn’t the most resolving however I can get a good taste of what said components have from there the other guys have much more resolving systems we can further investigate, it’s all fun .
