My cables broke on my k518s (trying to diy some cool cables but for now im looking for new 'phones)

So I was looking around and I was wondering about the sr60i's
I know grado makes some nice highend stuff so is there low end stuff good also?
and how's the bass?
I've read some bits and pieces of reviews but I was wondering if anyone had compared the two.

And now unamped as of now.

SR80i then if mostly rap and rock. MS1i has less treble and bass.

I bought a pair of Sr60s for my girlfriend recently, and we are both quite impressed by them. They handle pop, rock and indie very well and are quite easy to drive, so you don't have to worry about how powerful the source is, which was a big plus.

Go fro the SR60's or 60i, but if you can stretch to it, go for the MS-1. The MS-1's are a lot of headphone for not much money.

I've owned a quite respectable array of high end headphones and still think the SR60i's are wonderful if that tells you anything. I say do it! It's how a lot of us started out. Be forewarned: you will be addicted to audiophile headphones and you will be spending more money you may or may not have in the not so distant future.

The 60's are very good for the money and they sound quite good un-amped.
