Grado On/Over Ear headphones for under $200?

I'v recently been looking around for some open-eared headphones and I've come across Grado. Where is a good place to start with Grado for under $200? If you could link reviews or give your own, it would be really appreciated. I don't exactly care so much if its on-eared or over-eared, as long as it's comfortable. I listen to all types of music, and bass isn't important to me, just balanced, neutral sound. Thank you very much!

    Heya,

The SR80i or SR125i would be a great place to start; buy the L-cush pads with them.

However, comfort is relative. Personally I've not found any Grado to be comfortable to wear except those with salad bowls (ie: G-cush pads).

I love the Grado sound. All energy. Attack. Bright. Very exciting. Not for the subtle.

But it's hard to wear due to on-ear fit which I loathe.

Suggested other headphones to explore: Sennheiser HD598, AudioTechnica AD900, Fischer Audio FA-002, Ultrasone HFI 2400, AKG Q701, Hifiman HE-300, Beyer DT880.

    Very best,

Dt-880 is very magical, but it's over $200. Try the Dt 990 if you want

There is also the New iGrado [literally called iGrado] it's thier cheapest can and has an behind the ear head band... I'm interested as I need a behind ear headband for working
