Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

It has for me. It packs more features in a much more simple form factor but YMMV depending on what you're hooking up the Go Pods to and what type of sound resonates with you.

I have very little experience with BT adapters, only using the TRN BT20 Pro for a couple of weeks, before sending them back yesterday. I didn't particularly think about buying BT adapters, as I thought they'd be heavy around the ears, but to my surprise, they are incredibly light & comfortable.

If you can retain your wired IEM with the BT adapter, I feel that's a win.

Sound audio output is more then 80% of my decision on a tws choice. Why in the world would I want a 2nd or 3rd quality headphones or tws. When the goal is the best audio experience I can get for the category and like I said "if you can afford it" I don't consider Geekfly a boutique brand, I consider Devailet, Bowers and Wilkins, B&O that.

If it's 80% then why not go wired? Get literally 200%+ the performance for 1 third the price.

For most folk the point of tws is primarily features, namely being wireless, calls, ANC, etc. Otherwise we'd go wired.

For instance I don't think my Devialet Gemini II sound that much better than my Airpods Pro 2, really it's a subtle difference. The difference between a Devialet II and a Supermix 4 ($140 wired IEM) is many times greater than the difference between Gemini and APP2. To me at least.

Which is all to say for many people in the grand scheme the difference in SQ between the best overall TWS and the best sounding TWS is pretty small, at least relative to what we get going wired. I think in the tws rabbit whole we magnify the discrepancies of what are all pretty compromised iems. That said I've not tried the Nobles yet...

There is an eq setting in the app, AKG N9 setting, that sounds the best to my ears. I am not sure you have to set it. it may set it automatically.

I don't think you read my post correctly 80% choice when deciding on a tws, how did you interpret my post? I have experienced most wired IEMs over the years and I came to a decision to switch to wireless at a point where I felt the technology now is on par with wired IEMs specially when your on new android tech with optional superior codecs out there. The convenience of wireless is so great when your on the go and in your workspace, be it leisure time or work. Wired just isn't convenient anymore once you experience both sides. You probably won't believe it but that's okay. I been in this hobby space since 2003, scene many come and go.

I'm not into Apple products, I can understand your for case better if you're on Apple and limited to only aac or sbc codec choices then I wouldn't consider wireless as a option and stick with wired.

I'm not a fan of boutique Devailet products, I don't believe they sound good at all. They are a fantastic company when it comes to their amplifying solutions.

For sure, the beauty of the Go Pods is that if you're ok with buying multiple IEM sets, you basically have the ability to turn any of those into wireless solutions but you'll obviously have to make some trade offs. It just comes down to preference at the end of the day. There's no right or wrong path, just the one that suits you best in your particular use case or scenario.

Too bad headphones are big. AKG N9 is the best SQ BT device I have & the cheapest! Using the included dongle, have not wired up.....no need. This decision is easy.....KEEPER!

Yeah, maybe 1200 USD if I recall. I got them when they came out, so not 100% on that. They sound wonderful
