If your local Walmart has any Bose NC 700’s in stock, they’re on Clearance for $249 (new). I picked one up, I always thought they were slick. Also, they were discontinued in October 2024.

AZ100:
After 15 minutes: A TOTL sound and finish. App updated the buds and a few clicks in the app were fast.
Tomorrow I plan on a longer evaluation. To be fair, the AZ100 is going to be handicapped because of the IEM hooked (pun intended) up to the D&o_Sky.91's

The other TWS' comparisons are Rex5, Svanar, ZX~1, and Pi8. All heavy TWS hitters plus a AKG N9 headphone for kicks & grins.

It has for me. It packs more features in a much more simple form factor but YMMV depending on what you're hooking up the Go Pods to and what type of sound resonates with you.

While I don’t own the Rex5, I agree with the general response of, well, it depends. Regardless of how much tweaking you can do with the Rex5, it fundamentally is a single IEM…. Go Pods, and similar products, allow you to be much more flexible with the IEM… much more of a true roll your own set up. Now, some may despise the form factor and none of that flexibility matters to them, that I’d understand, but it seems unfathomable that a single IEM can obsolete platforms like the Go Pods for the broad audience. Just my $/€/£/¥0.02

Not if you want to use high end IEM with the go pod. I mean it's pretty subjective. But no tws right now would make a tws add any IEM solution obsolete for me. Not a chance in hell.

1. Can the ifi go pods or any bt adapter do apt x lossless? Also is Sennheiser mtw4 the only and/or best bt with apt x lossless? Thanks

Yes there are aptX Lossless Dongles/Adapters (massive thread here) and there are multiple TWS that support aptX Lossless not just the MTW4.

I am grateful today because:

1. I have less than $200 invested in aftermarket cables.
2. I have till 1/31 to return 3 TWS & BT H.P.
3. Music sounds excellent, feeling lucky to have choices.
