Beyerdynamic AMIRON 300 (TWS)

I know I posted these weeks ago but cannot find it and the UK link is dead and they go live on the 15th Oct so possibly the website is being updated.

This is one I do want to hear. I wasn't a real Free Byrd fan. Amazon has these on the site for pre order.

With that Amiron name, hope they sound as good as the headphones. Also the Aventho 300 headphones are on my radar, interesting to see that they use Sony tech for the ANC.

I must say, Aviot has done a great job attaining coherence with a bunch of different drivers in the ZX1. There seem to be many paths to great sound.

Speaking of which, I've settled with Comply TW-400-C tips for now, same as I have on my Sennies. I tried the ZX1 mountain biking over the weekend, mostly in ambient mode. Went pretty well. They do adapt to wind once it reaches a certain level, and it works pretty well. That said, all I really notice is that after a few seconds of wind noise, it changes, and I think it just shuts off ambient mode. It might be doing something more sophisticated, but I can only detect that one thing happening. I think I prefer the Sennie wind mode, that you manually select, for high wind situations like bike riding.

Beyerdynamic…. Another high end company with a single DD in their top unit.
Makes sense, there should be no reason for a 10mm (well designed and manufactured) driver, to not cover the entire audio frequency. Multi driver crossover networks are tricky to pull off.
Yup, Beyerdynamic are imo the best equipped company to make a top tier tws, simply because of Xelento.

Xelento is probably the most compact iem ive ever tried and the most comfortable, it's a single DD, and it plays very well with modern $300-500 iems.

I'm expecting big things of Beyers tws, xelento was just amazing.

Nothing on Amazon UK yet.

AMIRON 300 TRUE WIRELESS EARPHONES User Manual:: https://global.beyerdynamic.com/amfile/file/download/file/1774/

New beyerdynamic APP (not the previous MIY App): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.beyerdynamic.app&hl=en_GB

No Power On/Off/Pairing from the earbuds just like the Free Byrd's, at least they now added OFF (Normal mode) not just ANC/AMB and you were are stuck with those choices until you take your phone out and use the App.

They should have stuck to the aptX camp not LDAC and their sister headphones get BT 5.4 but these get BT 5.3 and battery is 1 hour less than Free Byrd's at 10 hours.

Received my Nothing Ear 2024 (black) this afternoon. I'm going to give them a week of use, before returning & posting my thoughts.
Just wanted to mention, I'm very very impressed by the sound, straight out the box, without playing around with EQ or anything.

Also, I ordered some Spinfit Omni tips, unfortunately they don't fit into the case with these. Luckily, the Large tips that come with the Nothing Ears, seem to fit me well. We'll test them out tomorrow morning on my run.
