Got the Moondrop Moca's the day before yesterday.

They are FAR superior to the previous Moondrop true wireless earbuds that I've tried (Space Travel/Golden Ages), really disliked both of those. With Wavelet these actually sound pretty damn good for the price even though omitting LDAC from these is rather puzzling to me.

The case, the aesthetic and the ANC are also clear improvements to the aforementioned earbuds.

Gave the ZX1 a serious wind test today. Rode my bike with them and, at times, got up over 30mph. Started with everything off and it was what I expected: just fine but not the best since they stick out so far. Then things got surprising. ANC mode, which tends to be a mess in high wind, was quite good. It really is adaptive ANC, as they claim. Takes a few seconds, then becomes at least as quiet as with no ANC. Then I briefly tried ambient mode. Expected to have my ears destroyed but, although a bit louder, it wasn't bad. Either the mics are placed well to avoid wind or it has some kind of adaptive algorithm also.

As for LDAC not holding settings, Bluetooth Codec changer seems to have fixed that.

Finally, I installed an android app called Precise Volume and bought the paid version. It allows you to change the volume steps. Changed it from the default (25 steps?) to 50 steps, which gives much better control of volume.

Still blown away by the quality of the ZX1!

If you have a Samsung Galaxy, the "sound assistant" app is also available for free in the Samsung store, which allows you to adjust volume settings 1 step at a time (100 steps in total).

Well, for some reason the Airpods 4 (ANC) I got constantly required being reset to play music. It'd play after the 1st pairing but after putting them back in the case to charge and use after, I'd have no music. Phone calls worked fine. Returned them.

Picked up another set of the Samsung Buds 3 (non-pro).

That's odd!

Going smoothly on Android here. Not 100% on keeping them yet. There can be a surprising amount of ear pressure with ANC... not so much steady pressure as like very uncomfortable moments when like closing the door of a small room. Didn't expect that. May be because the Airpods fit me like a glove. Better seal than most users, i would guess. Do not move during workouts. Any tips from experienced users?

My only other ANC set is actually the 2024 Nothing Ear that I've had since launch. Good to see this thread catching onto that. I'm generally not a big IEM guy. Nothing might be lagging Apple on ANC tech but it never causes me discomfort!

My TWS of the day was...not a TWS.

I haven't used the BTR15 in a long time, and I don't know why, it's so powerful and detailed, that sometimes I can't believe it's just Bluetooth. These IE600 I bought SH from an online shop in the Netherlands (via Ebay). They are quit battered, but still alive and the treble is simply magnificent. And they sell them for peanuts.
I think TWS still have a lot of gap to close. Nevertheless, TWS win on convenience.

I'm on Android as well.

The Airpods 4 ANC likes to amplify/exaggerate short loud sounds. Mine did it as well.

Have to say the update for One UI was worth it. Turning it on is easy peasy and it definitely adds another level of detail to the GB3P.

Will see how much it impacts battery life. If not to strong then I will just set and forget. But if its a big hit I will just use it when I am in a position to enjoy the added sound quality.

I noticed the added detail using Amazon Music HD and Ultra HD song and I have some 24/192 FLAC files that sound damn good. I am noticing mostly more treble sizzle, but also maybe a bit more bass detail.

Think these are now as close to wired as I have heard in any TWS.

Are we there yet??? As close as my old ears can hear!

EDIT: Patricia Barber sounds soooooo good..... have the album Scream all in 24/192 FLAC and its just sizzling... her vocals have just a hint of sibilance which is true to her voice and drum kit instruments and Doublebass sound so immersive...
