If you a Samsung person the GB3P are also a great option. But those AKG do look interesting...Very interesting... The Elite 10 Gen 2 and AKG N5 are both possible next tryouts for me.

If the B&W Charging case is now confirmed to be aptX Adaptive how can it be Lossless?Streaming from iPhone and it says Lossless! Listening closely to the codec change when streaming from I.P. BT to the case. Definite improvement! It also sounds great straight from the phone

That's very likely what the app is pulling down from the service, not what it is sending to the buds. Either way though, glad it sounds great!
Interesting thoughts on the Elite 10 vs. Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro. Elite 10 are definitely one of the most comfortable in-ear TWS for me. Galaxy Buds3 (non-pro) have been excellent for calls (no complaints from anyone so far).I also get a bit more footfall thump on my XM5 compared to the Elite 10
My best 2 TWS for lack of footfall sound are Elite 10 and Galaxy Bud 3 Pro.
I would give the GB3P the edge for sound quality and Elite 10 the edge for comfort and over all stability.
While I prefer to GB3P for sound this does not make the Elite 10 bad in any way. Both sound good, just the one is a bit better than the other.
Anyone have thoughts on Samsung Buds 3 Pro bass? I find the mid-bass plenty but feels like it lacks the Sub bass. Since it has a planar tweeter and a DD for low end(bass) along with a separate amp for the DD, I expected better bass...
Having had most of the previous Samsung TWS besides the original Buds Pro (have or have had the Galaxy Buds, Buds2, Buds2 Pro, 2x Buds Live, Buds3), I have found the Samsung tuning isn't really for me when it comes to music (although it works really well for watching videos on my Samsung tablet). Based on your comments, looks like I may skip the Galaxy Buds3 Pro as I suspect I will be picking up a PI8 anyway.I was coming here is ask if anyone had an eq they could share.
Owning them less than 24 hours I'm using dynamic and I like it but it's probably a tad harsh in the highs.
The gift that keeps on giving...you're not helping my wallet (its been an expensive few weeks). Joking aside, it sounds like B&W has ironed out a lot of the kinks and made some improvements that address all of my main gripes with the original PI7 (connectivity issues, inability to turn on ambient/passthrough mode without app, lack of EQ). Will need to get my hands on the PI8. Anyone have comparisons between PI8 vs AZ-80?I’m loving them more each day.
Also, just want to say that I appreciate everyone sharing their thoughts and opinions above. I think it's what makes this thread so addicting and enjoyable.

I also have owned the older GB devices including both pro models. I was very tempted to skip the new model because of that. I find generally the Samsung tuning to be a bit to shouty in the mids and lower treble and tad bass light and not as resolving as I would like to boot.Interesting thoughts on the Elite 10 vs. Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro. The GB3P has essentially made me a believer again. They have in my opinion good levels of bass, nice mids, and treble, and much better detail and I can't even use the 24/96 SSC yet... I actually had to tune up the mids and stuff to get them the way I like them. Which brings up the best new (should have always been there) feature. An adjustable EQ!!

After trying several TWS and considering only the sound, my favorites are Noble Fokus Prestige and Devialet Gemini ll.I also get a bit more footfall thump on my XM5 compared to the Elite 10

The Prestige is slightly bigger than I would like for my ears. On the other hand, I can wear the Gemini without issues and for several hours.
A couple of days ago, I received and finally decided to return the B&W Pi8. They seem to have a lot of power but a muddy sound.

If it makes you feel any better I had issues getting it to work tonight (normally fine), worked for a while and then fell back to Adaptive for rest of night.
EDIT: 2 reboots later: It really is a PIA and not worth it IMO and if I did want Truly Lossless I could simply listen though the speakers or wired earbuds like I have since CD's came out in 1986.

Feel free to share that eq if you can !
Found these EQ settings from a Car sound engineer on reddit but these are supposed to be true to life flat response...
0 -2 +2 +1 0 -1 -2 -1 +1
Mine are like this:
+4 +2 0 0 +2 +2 +3 +4
Will give yours a go, cheers.
That other one will be too flat for me
I will try out the Shokz Open Run 2 that'll release tomorrow. They will have BCD + DD drivers.
