That's insane. I'd just wait. They'll be more readily avail eventually.

Do they have a mono mode?Creative ace 2.
The highs and mids coming form the xMEMs driver are on another level. It’s so fast, so clear, so crisp and keeping sibilance in check all at the same time. Listening to the same piece of music on the ace 2, it’s as if the music is remastered at super ultra pro max HD resolution. And all this only on iPhone AAC. Impressive.
Mono mode as in single bud use? Yes it does, I can put one bud in the case and the other bud will keep playing. The sound from the single bud is down mixed into mono.Do they have a mono mode?
That probably won't work, because the gift cards that I would be able to purchase here where I'm at would only work for our domestic Amazon store I'm almost entirely sure of.
And if I were to buy it online from Amazon I would run into the same issue again... with the money not being able to be withdrawn. Unless they have to withdraw the funds for the gift card right away because it's supposed to be an instantaneously working thing, but i'm not sure how likely that is?
That was sort of like my first reaction. They seemed thin and incredibly wide after coming from "normal" drivers, like if you had your ear against a dome tweeter. But once you find cohesion there is no going back.Falcon Max: I had 5 minutes with them today and here some thoughts:
First of all, my ears are old, the noisy in-store setting at e-earphone is not ideal for critical listening and I am a fanboy of ANC while leaning towards basshead.
That being said, I am probably not the audience for those. Some observations though: I had to crank up the volume on my iPhone to 11 to be able to hear anything over the store background sound ... the ANC does not make a huge difference ... maybe does a better job in planes / trains ...
The app was only half connected somehow, able to identify the buds by name, but no other info (like battery per bud) and some connection error message.
As for the sound, there was a bit of an over the top clarity in the highs .. like super crystal clear (i guess that's so shiny new magic drivers in there) .. the bass on the other hand was .. eh, maybe better suited for the 'balanced' crowd.
Again, lots of salt on everything I say, very subjective, no chance of tip rolling, people actually standing behind me waiting their turn. The buds look very pretty and fit was decent with the either small or mid size tips that were on.
Price in store at e-earphone was 39400Yen and I recall that in the past they offered international shipping.
Maybe i'm just a big dum-dum here, but I don't quite get the difference of transferring money for an online gift card vs outright buying it?I was talking about the second option, transferring money from your CC to an online gift card at Amazon US. I did this once on Amazon Germany with residual money from virtual credit cards that I had no longer use for - and it worked instantly. You could try with a very small amount first, if you feel uneasy about it.

Also, fit matters with the xmems. You can tell by pressing them in how it effects the highs more dramatically with these than others. The Creatives fit pretty well but I imagine some will have to tip roll. I think I would prefer stemless and hopefully Noble nail the fit.
It's interesting that xmems is a really small player and lists only Noble and Creative as TWS partners. When they have advances, I imagine Noble will be first with them and I can't wait for that. But I wouldn't spend a crazy excise tax on the Falcon Max equivalent to the price the Aurvanas that they probably sound just like. Especially when you'll be tempted to upgrade to the $1500, Montera-driven Singularity ONIs

Yeah, that's what I wasn't sure about, if the gift card would instantly withdraw the funds, even if logic would dictate that such would be the case.... I just haven't tried it before so I wasn't sure if it would. But I will try it!Well, didn't you say buying goods won't work because they don't withdraw the money from your account/card right away?
My point is that upping the balance on a gift card should work instantly. And subsequent buying with the gift card wouldn't involve your CC's time limit.
There is no price to put on getting a shiny new toy. What do they say about "a fool and his money"?
What a rubbish post for your 24th overall. Maybe try to do better next time.
Wowza. Those are spectacular.Or wait for
