I’m listening to my (loving) APP2, through an iPhone XS, on Tidal (don’t think this happens in Spotify, not sure yet)... have you experienced sudden dips in volume? I don’t think the sudden dip in sound ever happened indoors, I believe only when out and about.

And, why does the case sometimes chime when I pick up my backpack? Is it looking for the phone and trying to connect when I get near it? Sorry if this is weird or just basic stuff, it’s just I have no previous experience with AirPods and want to make sure I’m not going nuts. Or if I have to replace them.

Thanks!

User manual for the AZ80 was just made available, it doens't appear to support LE-Audio/LC3 or Aptx Lossless... :frowning2: Even tho I expect there's many features that hasn't made it to this tentative manual.
Hopefully they'll be announced this week.

The photos are really interesting. Obviously not the finished product but interesting. It looks to have a fairly large single dynamic driver. The unit looks pretty big though so might not be good for people with smaller ears.

I mostly listen to music in CD quality, 16/44

What would be the ideal LDAC settings? 32/96 which is the default on android, or fix to 16/44 in developer options?
LDAC setting must be set to fixed 990Kpbs to get an automatic lossless CD 16bits 44.1Khz link. (Till now it's the only really available Codec to be able to allow a lossless connection.. APTX Lossless is not really available on the market till now).
With app like Codec switcher it's possible to evaluate in a real A/B comparison the impact of a good LDAC at 990Kbs lossless quality ane a 240Kbps AAC codec or even Aptx.

I have used Electronics for Less a couple times, they are legit and have been good to deal with in my experience.
