My Nuratech pro and transmitter arrive tomorrow.

I'll be happy to post some impressions as soon as I get them going.

I'm a bit disapointed to hear the gentlemen on this thread saying he set up 3 profiles and they all sounded very different. I hope this isn't a gimmick.
What I found out if you use different eartips you get different personalized EQs. I tried spinfit, hybrid silicone/memory foam and foam eartips. Each one resulted in a different eq

Yes, I do have the apples before. I'm wondering what else is there that would be recommended apart from the usual ones.

It's a pretty wide selection

I would base battery and connectivity as priority.
If you have apple product, then I don't think you should consider anything else by the airpod pro 2. It's a waste of money, because those other products are not "better." If you are looking for a better music experience, then look at wired IEM at around the same price point. I suggest Moondrop Blessing 2 Dusk (it's $320).

For sound what TWS is what's recommended, I have had Linkbuds S, XM4, Jabra Elite 7 Pro, Bose Quietcomfort, Freebuds Pro 2.

Would have liked something that's more resolving than those while still having some bass for fun.

Don't matter for me if they don't have all the microphone and awareness modes. Just need something wireless for fun, I often use DAP and IEM. But I way to often pull out the IEMs by accident then.
I’ve been reading allot about the nuratrue pro lately. And the noble Fokus pro are always held in high regard

If nuratech pro doesn't sound significantly better than airpods pro 2 they'll be going back Friday haha.

If your on a budget you might want to consider the Fiio FW5 as it sounds like you want more resolution but still can kick it with bass.

The FW5 won't give you much in the way of features like ANC etc but might just give you something closer to an audiophile sound.

Hi all,

Im looking for recommendations for earbuds.

I know nuts about them but have tried the following

Sony XM4
Senn MT3
Bose QC

Im leaning towards Senn more based on experience

What’s else are there worth to try?
I would say look at the JBL Live Pro 2 if budget is a concern and even if its not a concern. They are comfy, have quite good ANC and Ambient modes, the app offers a lot of EQ customization, and they have excellent battery life (I actually got 10.5 hours of on off use from my pair while out of case yesterday before they said low battery). They are not as dark sounding as the XM4 which I also own and like. I would say they handle rock with electric guitars such as Led Zeppelin and Van Halen better than the XM4.

Samsung is an option but if you are using an iphone you will have no app. Having said that, the standard EQ is a very good signature that has excellent bass while being a mid/treble centric TWS. BUt battery life is only average at best on these so the JBL thump them in that area.

You already mentioned the Senns which are also an excellent option.

The chances that you don't think the Pros sound significantly better than the APP2 are 0.0%.
Wrote something similar earlier and you beat me to the punch.

I’ll have a look and explore these

Whew, I sure have missed this setup. Good to be back!

Fostex TM2C with the Theiaudio Clairvoyance. Delightful! :metal:

Further to this post. If you're looking for something other than the UTWS5 or the Shure TW2, this price is a steal for the Fostex. Granted you'd have to buy the 2pin adapter but they just sound better than the UTWS imo. Really happy with them. They don't hug your ear like the TW2 or the FiiO. They can (they're bendable), but I just let them hover. The IEMs I'm using are secure and the arm of the adapter is so lightweight, they fit wonderfully. They come with a MMCX connector and an IEM which I'll never use.

neat looking product @erockg at first I wondered "why do they come apart in two places??", then I clicked on the 2nd link and it all came together LOL. My only concern would be durability given how many IEM's I have hade that start to fail at those connectors (times 2 with this model). But it does allow for both types of IEM so what the heck!

Oddly enough, this is my third time around with the Fostex. First time was when they didn't have a case with a battery. Then I upgraded to the one I have now, but ultimately decided to try the UTWS5... stupid me, I prefer the Fostex. Went back to it. The connectors are tight for me. SO far so good ;)
