I'm kind of bummed about this. I use them the same way you do. I love my Rex5, but have another pair for workouts and rain. The Rex 5 is so worth the trade-off.

BUT that did not stop me from buying the Amadeus. Bought them on HiFI SoundGear. Look, no sales tax. You still owe taxes when you file, though. I like these guys.

We will see how they stack up to the Rex5 and the Beoplay.

Are they a legit store? I checked the Noble website and the Amadeus were sold out.

Got my Sony c700n from the $65 Amazon US sale and am genuinely impressed. Solid sound quality (signature skews dark and a bit boomy), very useful app (great eq support), great fit/ergonomics, decent enough ANC and transparency modes, super tiny charging case, excellent battery life, OK mic/call quality (not amazing, but certainly passable), and ofc the physical buttons are excellent and it totally passed my long, sweaty run use case. I will be sad when these are inevitably discontinued. Also seems to work really well with all my Android/WearOS devices (multipoint pairing and Android quick connect, and battery case status shown in the OS). It looks like the c710n is the successor which unfortunately replaces the physical button with a touch pad.

I have this itch for the google pixel buds pro 2, mainly because of the curiosity of how these buds are described as very light and how google's approach to fitment is via some variability with locking the buds in place (or choosing not to when stationary).

Anyone using the pixel buds pro 2 as their daily driver?

A full day with the Rex5 and I have to say this is the tws I've been waiting for, since like, 2020. I've bought so many sets that were hyped over the years, PI7S2 and PI8, Gemini 2, Momentums,Beoplay EQ, Moondrops, etc etc.

And while I've enjyoyed all of the above none sounded as good as a truly good set of wired iems to me. Not even $100 iems.

But Noble have done something astonishing with the Rex5. The sound is just awesome, of all the iems I've owned it reminds me most of the Campfire Solaris. They just sound big and enveloping, almost like you're approaching an outdoor festival stage booming out tunes.

Really really impressed and so nice to finally have wired IEM quality in a tws package. It's been a damned long wait, and imo no tws was worth it over Airpods Pro 2 until now.

Yes! Bought my Rex5 there. Completely legit. I wondered how they managed the no-tax thing. If a company has less than $100,000 in sales in a state, it is not required to collect sales tax.

I like that they offer a 5-year warranty.

As a sponsor I cant discuss other brands, also anything I say would be perceived as inherently biased. I can say that the ear canal / stem is made from cnc metal and far smaller than the prestige.

The dynamic driver was under development for approximately 2 years. The driver is the special sauce. I'm sure there will be some early adopters and some reviews in the near future to help fill in the gaps for subjective information/opinions.
Perfect! A highly refined, well engineered, single driver can be the ticket 👍
Well done, I like the name, although it might produce too many notes. 😃

I think this answers my decision about whether I would open the JBL Tour Pro 3 or not...

Yes! That is the question, isn’t it?

They might not hit Rex5-levels of sonic sorcery—smaller drivers, friendlier price tag, etc.—but I’m still betting they’ll sound pretty fabulous.

They’re definitely smaller, with what looks like a slimmer nozzle than the Rex5. And while I adore the Rex5, let’s be honest—it’s kind of a unit. These new ones? Petite and possibly perfect.

For me, the all-time comfort champs are still the AZ100s and Pi8s—tiny, mighty, and basically made for my ears. So who knows… maybe these are the next little legends.

I believe the JBL has an airoha chipset & the Amadeus has a Qualcom. I do admire the display screen, & I looked into it, only to be told the Qualcom won't support a display.
