I think that’s the biggest bummer. Now, while they may fit some people, it’s annoying when you pay top $$$ for a premium product and then need to jump through hoops to make them fit right 🫤

I guess a CIEM version could be built, but CIEMs come with their own set of "hoops" as well. (And a hefty price)

As always, perfection is a moving target.

Absolutely, and it doesn’t mean the Rex has a problematic fit for everyone, as we all know, ears are unique and fit can vary a lot. I think some people say the buds were fairly large, maybe it’s possible to shrink the next gen somehow? I know it’s easier said than done.

Battery life would be compromised. Basically, everything is a give and take situation.

If the rex5 came in a more palatable colourway I might have tried them already but it seems everyone has fit issues with them, probably wouldn't have worked out for me, money saved!

With all the rex5 talk lately, has anyone tried the noble xm-1?

CIEM's are difficult to resell. Also, 450 is already enough for a TWS. Nothing is perfect, but it does appear that many companies need to spend time auditioning other eartips. I know they are often tuned with one, but there should be a solution. The quick solution is to throw Comply's in the mix, but not many folks use them.

Think I'm a true believer/convert. BT adapters (Fiio UTWS5) & my IE300 IEM.. No desire to return to TWS.

JVC has a new budget Gummy TWS. Funnily shaped like commas though that might work well ergonomically. Probably nothing that good but I do like the control scheme and hope they stick with it(and use it on some top model TWS of course)...

I like both play/pause and ANC/ambient switching both with one quick tap and the sound modes and Touch and Talk with a long press. Still would like touch and talk to be pause instead of lower the volume though.

Nothing updated their app recently. One of the changes is how they visually represent the various nothing tws you have paired to your device. You can tell I'm a fan of the company. lol

looks like there's room for one more Nothing TWS on that line of icons. I wonder what happens when you fill the entire row, does it go to a second line?
