Thanks for saving me the time. I’m not too far from where you at and was planning the same but I guess I’ll skip then.
I went to a shop called Cello, round the corner from September 23rd park. The other store I can't recall the name, but it was quite big, sold everything from headphones, home audio, laptops, action cameras etc... that store had way more gear, though again, more your consumer grade stuff. The third store I was going to visit is called 3K Shop HCM, but was disinterested after the first 2.

Potentially, I'll be visiting China in a couple of months, I would hope/expect I'll find some of the more niche brands there.

Oh well, guess I'm even more deaf than I thought.
Makes me feel slightly better about mine, I was a little worried I couldn't hear a few of the tones

yeah... when i realized my aging ears were losing high freq sensitivity, I think I started to accept that my technical listening skills would diminish over time. sad. fast forward 5 or 6 years later and I've given up on critical listening, but since I'm listening for the sake of enjoying the music, the loss was no big deal. You would think that would translate to my wallet being happier, but no. =)

I’m suffering from something too but it’s the other way around. The older I get I just can’t stand harsh treble and finding myself reaching for darker more lush sound signature.

You all made me sound so smart yesterday for educating me about Android.

I was out grabbing drinks with some friends—your typical Silicon Valley crew, all deeply embedded in the Apple ecosystem—when the conversation turned to a spicy hypothetical: Who would buy Chrome if Google had to sell it?

We tossed around the usual suspects, but thanks to this forum, I had a curveball ready. Someone here had mentioned that Samsung now offers a lot of the seamless features Apple users love—iPhone-to-Macbook-to-iPad-style continuity. That got me thinking: if anyone could make a serious ecosystem play, it’s Samsung. Connect the phone, tablet, laptop and TV? That’s a whole vibe. Think about the power of that. I have a Samsung TV and phone, I'll get the laptop too.

And guess what? No one at the table had thought of Samsung—but once I floated it, it instantly became the most compelling answer. (Apollo, the PE firm that owns Yahoo, also has potential, but it's not as sexy. )

So, cheers to this group!

Google would be insane to sell OpenAI Chrome. Why give a major competitor a footprint on devices like that?
Bigger convo. Sad all around right now.

The big game changer will be when AI is been fully implemented in OS and integrated with different interfaces.

Sadly, there are also many other challenges with this as we are surly use the human touch. One example is art, I can design a beautiful art piece using AI, something that would have taken me hours using a real camera, Photoshop and whatnot.
Everything becomes too accessible and it’s difficult to distinguish what’s real and what’s not anymore, but I digress.

For movies... Sora is just the beginning. Friends are going to be out of work because of it. Buckle up :(

Have to say I'm happy with the Spinfit Omnis for the B&W Pi8s.
Using the medium sized, and it's the best fit I've tried (so far :) )
Very comfortable, sound and ANC is good.

Using the large sized Omnis for my Meze Albas. Maybe even better fit than with the Pi8s?!

Anyway.. my go-to eartips for now.

I bought some of the Spinfits REV in anticipation for the arrival of my Pi8s. They are supposed to be here by next Tuesday.
