Well, in regards to TWS, seems I like Nothing. Nothing satisfies me. I feel like I'm content with Nothing. Nothing is truly enough.

Anyway, enough with the silly puns. I tried the Nothing Ear and they're QUITE ALRIGHT.

Sound is really what I was looking for. Crisp, clean, full, deep and smooth. While not good enough for me out the box, I just kept my Poweramp/Peace-EquilizerAPO tuning I made for Blon BL-05 and they sound at least as good as my Blons.

The pinch controls, albeit somewhat slow, are awesome. With the EarFuns I often managed to pause play unintentionally, when I only wanted to reseat the buds in the ear, but the Nothings are clumsy proof, while I don't even have to reseat them, because the 0-shaped tips make them sit perfectly, while feeling light (almost as if they're not too well seated, but they are, a new experience for me).

The Phone App is the cleanest, smoothest, fastest and nicest TWS App I tried.

The size is perfect, they appear quite small even in my tiny ears. Pair instantly. Easy to grab and put in the case. Quite nice case.

Latency out of the box direct to PC Bluetooth connection is even better than any other TWS' I tried. Even my WLAN is strong and stable, which wasn't the case with the other TWS' due to interference. Perhaps luck or momentary chance, but I intend to use the Creative BT-W6 dongle.

Only complaint I have is that the case could have had rounded corners for better portability, but the sharp edges and transparent lid look nice if the case is sitting on the table. The lid has a bit of wobble, which is a shame (the JBL I tried once had an amazing case, the rock solid lid was like one piece with the case and the sound when they shut, which they did very smoothly, was satisfying).

High tier complaining would be power LED indicator in/on the case so you're not dependent on the phone when using them with a computer.

Also high tier complaining would be an actual dongle. The case is large enough that I put the Creative dongle in it. Imagine the Nothings had one of those tiny dongles that laptop mice have nowadays, so you could use the app on the computer via the dongle and could use it in your phone without a Bluetooth connection.

That's a lot of text. I stop right there.

Actually I'm not done. The Nothings are so nice actually, that it makes me wonder if more expensive units are even nicerer. Kinda itching to find out if there's perfection out there, but I think I stay where I am right now with these.

Had my eyes on the AKG N5 Hybrid and Technics EAH-AZ80. Not sure.

Also was kind of keen on trying something European, call me rasis...

With the AZ80 you are on the safe side in SQ. I have had them for a year now and I love them. Unfortunately I had to take them to service because they were unbalanced. In the meantime I bought the B&W Pi8 which filled the only flaw they had, namely the maximum volume a little too low. For the rest, top audio quality!

And if it wasn't....it still sounds like a great joke...I give you nothing for that!!:joy::joy::joy:

Cheers! ;)

I've also run into connection issues with Jabra Elite 10s, they will be going back. I had times when the earphone would not automatically connect on pulling it out, adn one earphone was not making any sound. Sennheiser Momentums also had this issue which was annoying as well.

Not much better, and as you say the overall Nothing package is kind of unbeatable tbh...A fast app, glitch free, squeeze controls, perfect comfort, para EQ.

I have the Beoplay EQ atm, and I do prefer their sound to any true wireless ive heard. BUT they suck feature wise, the app is terrible and takes 10s to load, one bud drains 2x faster, they have background hiss, etc, etc. Id much rather have the Nothings as the sound gap is minor, and with para EQ the Nothings can sound very good anyway...

I really love the EQ from B&O and would be intruiged by this.

The sound is absolutely superb. It has battery drain issues though...So while I am super interested to try the next B&O offering, I'd be super hesitant after seeing how prevalent the EQ battery drain issue was, insane for a £350 bud that's only a few years old.
Personally, I found the EX are waaaaaaaay better than the EQ. Never had any issue with battery drain but the ANC is meh, but everything else about the EX is awesome. That said, I do hope they go back to the fit of the EQ with the stellar sound of the EX. Not a huge fan of buds with stalks. But that's me. Sadly, I've had every incarnation of the B&O buds and my fav have been those dang EX. Solid set.

They have been my go-to headphones. While I have a tendency to chase new purchases, I could be perfectly happy with just these. I will never forget wearing them at the pool and swimming with them in my ears; they performed fabulously after being submerged. At a price tag of $200 for "used-acceptable," I'm even happier with my choice than the initial price I paid for the first pair. They don’t get as much use as my other headphones only because of newer items, but every time I put them in, I remember why I love them. I regretted selling them the first time.

The class-leading warranty is a huge plus; I’ve used it on the EX and H95 models. There was nothing major—just minor issues, but both times my models were replaced with new ones. I am currently waiting for more availability on the H100s to hit the market, as I'm eager to see some used ones out there. I will undoubtedly get the new B&O EX model when it's released, although I anticipate it will come with a $550 price tag.

I also wanted to update on my second pair of Pi8s. I'm enjoying this pair much more since my previous ones had connection issues and sounded flat. The sound quality is full, spacious, and wide, which is why I see them ranked so highly. They are still overpriced, in my opinion. The build quality of the earbuds is premium and aesthetically pleasing, though I think the case could feel more premium. I wish they would update their products with new firmware and to include more audio codecs.

As I write this, I’m listening to Steely Dan on the Svanar, and the sound quality has always been among the best (subjectively), still the closest to an audiophile tuning IMO. Just make sure they are set to the HI-FI setting. The other features aren’t great—there's no app and the ANC is lackluster—but the sound quality is sublime.

This morning, I took my dog out while wearing the Pixel Buds 2 Pro, and I find them to be a complete package. I have zero complaints about the connection. They are tiny and comfortable, and I’ve learned to stop worrying about whether they’re properly seated in my ears and just enjoy the experience.

Earlier in the week, I exercised with the AKG headphones, and they impressed me once again. To my ears, they are among the more comfortable stem-type earbuds, providing a sound profile similar to the Harman curve with good bass. I love them as well, although I find the app to be too complicated. At $230.00, I feel they compete well, although I would prefer a price around $150.00, but the market just doesn't reflect that right now.

I don’t like rankings, which is why I don’t provide any.

I just dipped into my legacy tws drawer and pulled out the geekfly gf10. I have pretty much ignored everything including svanar, momentum 4, nuratrue pro, EX, final, as I prefer noble fokus pro, prestige, and triumph. However, walking around listening to achtung baby and then ministry, I'm shocked at how amazing these sound. They are built for aac and have so much power. Bass and soundstage for days. These rival some of my favorite wired iems. Looks like I have to do some direct comparing to the noble line but holy cow. Really advise to take a look at these again especially if pulling AAC on iPhone. Wow.

The elite 10s not connecting on both ears is a known issue after firmware updates. For those that experience this, try resetting the buds by pressing in both of them (while in the case) for 10 seconds. The light in the case will blink pink, then close the case for 5 seconds.

I don't trust product makes this kinda mistakes as it's huge annoyance. I'll stick to my GB3P that just works without issues. Same for freebudspro 3.

How big can the >$500 TWS market be? I'm kind of in to these things, with two drawers full of 'em, and balk at over $300. Although I do have other hobbies that demand funds, most goes to headphones.
