This is a SQ only IEM, in my opinion, I think I have said that before. The sound is one of the best, it is not as full sounding as some but it is one I would consider having an audiophile tuning for a TWS.I will admit I like the SQ of Svanar. I don't know what it is, but I like how music sounds no this TWS. The measurements don't look all that great in the treble, but for some reason, I like the way it sounds for music. This is very hard since I don't like the build quality, and I also want really great ANC.

It looks like the Svanar is available fairly cheap here now in the UK at £229.
I am a Hifiman fan having owned the HEK in the past but the Svanar seems to have a few issues and quite a few bad reviews.
Its a shame as it looks great too

I have to think that Hifiman is due to come out with a new version soon. I liked the sound, but sent my back because that was really the only thing I liked about them and maybe if they release a new version it will improve on what the other was lacking in.

Been enjoying my UTWS5 2025 + Aful MagicOne. Very good combo and the Fiio can drive the MagicOne properly. My older UTWS5 couldn't properly drive the MagicOne without maxing out the volume on both my PC and the adapter itself. With the 2025 version, I could do 80% of PC volume and -4 clicks on the adapter.

More bass. Everything else is solid. Hope an upgrade is coming too.I have to think that Hifiman is due to come out with a new version soon. Yeah, I agree it could stand to have a little more bass. The other thing I didn’t like is that the volume is lowered when you go into anc and transparency. I think the Denon Perls did that also.More bass. Everything else is solid. Hope an upgrade is coming too.

Yes it does but that's because it switches off the separate amp or something like that. So I gave them a pass on that one.Yeah, I agree it could stand to have a little more bass. And that’s the killer, spending $300-$500 on a TWS and have it sit in a drawer…. Ouch
, believe me, I’ve done it..

I hadn’t thought of that, but makes sense.Yes it does but that's because it switches off the separate amp or something like that. So I gave them a pass on that one.

I've thought about getting these (or a previous version) for some time. Can I ask - are they comfortable to wear? In my mind I'm telling myself they aren't but I'm probably wrong. Any info about the experience of actually using them would be very helpful. Thanks!

It is very comfortable to use and I am wearing glasses too. It is not perfectly secure on your ears as it doesn't pinch from the back like the Shure TW2. It just dangling on the back of your ears.I've thought about getting these (or a previous version) for some time. Can I ask - are they comfortable to wear? The soundcore C40i sounds better imho and it is a clip style open earbuds. The bass is even better than aerofit2 imho.Grabbed a pair of the Soundcore Aerofit 2. So far so good. Incredibly light and fit great. Tons of features. No pain or pinching so far. Nice stage. Wider than the Linkbuds Open.

But does the arm flex like the Freeclip buds? Would be great if they did. If they're anything like the first gen 30i, can't do it. Too still, very uncomfortable for me.The soundcore C40i sounds better imho and it is a clip style open earbuds. The bass is even better than aerofit2 imho.

They do flex. Not as much as Huawei Freeclip but they C section is definitely flexible. But does the arm flex like the Freeclip buds? Would be great if they did. If they're anything like the first gen 30i, can't do it. Too still, very uncomfortable for me.
