I love mine. Use them all the time. Very happy with the tuning and fit.Already did it once...keep thinking I had a bad pair

Ouch! I really like my Pi7's. I'm looking for the ultimate piano sonata, violin sonata, chamber and concerto TWS. It will be used pretty much exclusive for this. So, it'll need an accurate mid range for sure. The reviews I've see on the Pi8's say these roll right into that wheelhouse.Nope. They are just mediocre, man.
Xm5 is a better set; az80 is better; zx1 is better; h anc is better.
I'm going to get dog piled here, but it's just over hyped, rather than objectively good, as far as SQ goes. It lacks detail and separation. It is very obvious in a side by side. It sounds like a $100 off brand tws set. Might as well get Ray cons.
If anc doesn't matter, the Noble Triumph takes the cake on pure resolution. Too lean for my tastes, but objectively good.
Som folks have problems with zx1 fit. I use the azla sedna shirts, and they work well for me. I have the zx1 and the pnk. The red ones actually sound a little better/clearer to me, but not sure I could tell in a blind test.
I had a set of pi7's. I recall thinking they were decent, but mediocre anc, and not really an upgraded over my xm4 at the time. Tws has progressed a lot since then, but it doesn't seem bowers and wilkins has really kept up. They make fantastic home audio speakers, but I have not been impressed with their bluetooth gear.Ouch! I appreciate you mentioning all of the other models, but I have had them all except Noble, and I won't spend money with John. Although I did buy the Heir 8.0 years ago.Nope. They are just mediocre, man.

Soooo funny you say that. I had this discussion with @erockg a month or two ago. I don't think I was fair with those, I returned them too quick as I started to like them. Weird but true.Think the Amirons are going back. The deal breaker for me is the fit. They are light but not very stable. Might revisit AZ80.

For my true sound quality expectations/tastes, I still require, opt for wired connections. For convenience, I do like Bluetoooth, and I became less of a wired-only snob when I gave LDAC a chance for listening to my lossless music, particularly my large collection of FLAC files, and Amazon Music lossless offerings. I have not tried other lossless music services. LDAC opened me up to more wireless music listening a couple of years ago, but nothing without it, for that, has proved worthy, enjoyable for me. I do know the airpods because two or three loved ones have them, and they do sound nice for iphone wireless listening, at least -or that is my only experience with them.I've got the A40, i use them for sleep because of the amazing comfort and battery. ANC is solid, for the price they're crazy. I do notice a pretty dramatic uplift in sound quality using my airpods pro 2s though, I wish Soundcore would make a more premium a60 with the same form factor but flagship sound...
It's personal with me...but don't let that influence you.Is Noble a bad company?
