A little bit more about LE Audio on GBP3. It's funny, it starts off ok then constantly goes out of left/right phase. The effect is a like random spatial processing, interesting but useless. I imagine they will eventually fix it and then make it a firmware release feature.

Overall, I really like these. Never having owned an an iPhone or Air Pods, I think the GBP3 succeed in being the closest to that in Android. Excellent sound quality and ANC along with tiny size, great comfort and a host of usability features like voice detection to ambient mode. Another standout is call quality, easily the best I've heard from the listening side, very loud and clear thanks to the double-wide bandwidth feature they have.

For the $75 I paid after discounts and a trade-in of some drawer junk they are a steal, But I would pay up to $200 for these as a pocketable daily driver.
I noticed the same problem
I'm using a pixel and I'm wondering if the problem is with the pixel as Le audio is still shown as experimental

No one in here that uses 3rd party tips for the Pi8s? If so, which ones?

Again, these are the most difficult TWS to find tips for. Very narrow nozzle (most of my tips falls off...) and they need the mentioned filter to avoid being sibilant.

Is the circled item how I would use LE, so only available if some place uses this?

I think it must be half-baked all around. I have some other buds that advertise LE capability and they also get out of phase sometimes, but not nearly as much as the GBP3.

@dweaver there is a toggle on the pixel, as mentioned it says "experimental".

Hello there, I just wrote a review for the Lypertek Pureplay C3 (released this year in may). I couldn't find a single review anywhere so I hope this one helps someone out.

When I was looking to buy a new set of TWS earbuds, I was deciding between Lypertek Pureplay C3 and BGVP Q3. Looking back, I probably would have chosen BGVP Q3, they seem better according to the review here and from other sources.

B&W Pi8, why the big size difference between M and L tips??
L is just too big, M is just too small.
Ended up using M on the left, L on the right, but not an optmal solution...

I need to use the original ones, due to the sibilance with tips without a filter.
The filter in the original ones is quite densed (test blowing through it, and you will see what I mean), so I think that's why the Pi8 doesn't sound sibilant with them.

Sooo... any tips for tips? Something M+ sized with a similar filter??
I use Azla tips but recently switched to the L stock.

Spinfits work well too.

I received the GB3 Pro today. I'm very impressed by their ANC. I live by a flight path and these come close to silencing that noise inside the house. They seem very adaptive, shifting to more silence when necessary. I haven't been on the subway but they make street noise dangerously quiet. FWIW they happen to fit me perfectly with default tips, but I do think these are the best ANC I've heard. I also like the blade stem ergonomics, sliding between thumb and forefinger to manage volume, and a soft clicketty-click when I squeeze the edges to navigate songs. They sound great. I tried them on my Galaxy Tab and Pixel, and though the tab probably sounded better, the Pixel AAC sounded great to me as well.

After spending a weekend with them in various different environments I'm finding a couple a couple of little quality of life issues are starting to bug me

.not auto pausing music when selecting ambient mode. My Sennys and Jabra 10s do it and I really struggle without it. Hopefully an update at least gives you the option to turn on

.picking up talking to turn on ambient just doesn't last long enough. Talking to cashiers and it ends while they are talking.

I've gotten really used to not having to remove buds to talk to people and as it stands with these, you basically have to. Frustrating

Dang, the little mesh on my left ZE3000 fell off today. I felt it was a little loose before but yeah. Barely use them though. I don't think this is fixable?

I was thinking of maybe replacing them with something not too expensive. I saw the Technics AZ60M2 for 145 euros. Are they any good? Reviews seem fine overall.

The AZ60 were nice and the M2 were just a bit more feature rich, so at a good price would be good. Signature was a bit on the warm side.

Thanks.
No problem with sibilance? You've compared them to the original tips?
I’m not a big fan of sibilance and I’m not having any issues with that on these. I am switching between those three tips and today has settled on the Spinfit, but we’ll see how long that lasts.

I agree it would be nice to have those things. I also noticed the conversation time is not long enough. Ironically, I never used ambient on the Jabra. I find the GBP3 to me much better quality there.

But they are quite sibilant with "open" tips?? Is it only me that think so??
Really unpleasant with all my tips, like Spinfit CP350, JVC Spiral dot, Final E-type etc..

The only tips that sound good are the original ones and some old Comply Foam Smartcore I found...

Why switch then if the stock tips sound good? 😅
