I received the GB3 Pro today. I'm very impressed by their ANC. I live by a flight path and these come close to silencing that noise inside the house. They seem very adaptive, shifting to more silence when necessary. I haven't been on the subway but they make street noise dangerously quiet. FWIW they happen to fit me perfectly with default tips, but I do think these are the best ANC I've heard. I also like the blade stem ergonomics, sliding between thumb and forefinger to manage volume, and a soft clicketty-click when I squeeze the edges to navigate songs. They sound great. I tried them on my Galaxy Tab and Pixel, and though the tab probably sounded better, the Pixel AAC sounded great to me as well.

My Aviot TE-ZX1 case just mysteriously vanished earlier in the week when I was at home listening. Haven't been able to find it and the earbuds are just laying out and about by themselves now, all naked and scared. :frowning2:

Curse this ADHD brain of mine, I have literally no idea where they could have gone, because I think I had the case in my pocket while working, but they are not in any of the places they should be, even if the case had dropped out of my pants pocket.
A bit worried that I accidentally threw it in the trash or something, but... We'll see if it shows up. It joins my Melomania earbuds in being without a case, that one I lost outside though, lol.
Thinking of buying the PI8's now, but I'm a bit worried that they won't sound good based on what a lot of people here are saying.

That happened to me with my Shure TWS adapters as well... Batteries must be broken by now. Never found it again. :/

I entirely feel your pain. I lose things so often like its going out of style. Worst case was losing but then finding my custom JH13pro IEMs that I incredulously put through the wash and dryer. :sob:

It’s really nice the Pi8 does both. Interesting that the M300 does not give a choice.

I have both ZX1s and the Pi8 and they sound different. I have to spend more time, my Pi8 brief listening impressions are pages back. I know I am not selling the ZX1, I'm considering selling the PNK but not because of the Pi8, just redundancy.

I am keeping the Pi8s. The aesthetics, the reliability of the software so far, and they sound really good. The fact that it can do both LDAC & aptX Adaptive and be connected at the same time has value to me! YMMV See the picture above.

If I could only keep 1 TWS out of what I have? ZX1, Spike, and Swordfish II win the day.

What’s consensus here on Apple Airpods pro? How does the sound measure up to others in the field?
The APP1 are outclassed at this point even by cheaper tws.

The APP2 are solid and hold their price. At 249 they're cheaper than a lot of the heavy hitters, but they still beat some. I think they are objectively better than the MW08/MW09, delivering a more balanced, better resolved treble and also superior mids.

APP2 hold their own against PI7S2 too, the latter are better no doubt, but also $100 more, and that price about reflects the sound quality upgrade you get - but then you lose a ton of features.

I have to admit, I am on the fence about the B&W Pi8s. The biggest reason I would keep them is that they would be my only non-stem TWS. I am not even sure that matters. The sq is good, the fit is good, and they are great aesthetically. The app is lame and has very limited options. I am in my return window, so I am still giving them a chance to grow on me. I will take them for a walk and exercise today! Also, for some reason, I have issues connecting them with the app on the Pixel 9 Pro XL.

All subjective so YMMV!

For comparison I currently have B&O EX, Hifiman Svanar, AKG N5 Hybrid, Soundcore LIberty 4 NC and the Pi8.

I might be a minority here but I just don’t like the look of stem TWS. Purely aesthetics for me and I understand they have to stuff the tech somewhere, but the stems protruding down / forward just makes me feel like a doofus.

The pro 2 in my opinion is the best tws when you consider every single aspect like fit, anc, case size, etc. very easy going and balanced sound profile, it doesn’t have the extension that some have like the Momentum True Wireless 4, but it beats those in a number of different ways.

I think if you have an iOS device it’s a no brainer purchase.
