Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

These appear to be Aviot TE-ZX1 PNK, ballpark of $350 and worth every penny.

Been trying to find them, but all on Ebay are used. Brand new they seem tricky to find. I'm in Australia and the ones that are brand nee go for around $600 USD - $700 which for me, is not worth it.

Nice, and please be aware that TE-ZX1-PNK has different tuning than TE-ZX1. I heard both before purchasing and preferred PNK.

They also take EQ pretty well, too bad you can't really fill in the lowest sub-bass. I'm also a fan of Cowboy Bebop though so the choice is clear.

How do they compare to the liberty 4 NC?

To my ears, the bass is more pronounced in the 4NC. It is a signature that I prefer more. I have tried my personal preference and all of the presets that I felt would work for me.

Why do you return them?

They are quite a buy for their price but I have other signatures I enjoy more in my "collection".

I like the sound signature of the 4NC too but it feels a tat more bulky and doesn't sit flush to the ears to my preference. Is the earfun smaller in size? And is the sound quality not worthy enough for compromise?

Started with balanced, played with dynamic and the other presets and ended with this for a custom EQ. Had the bass cranked a bit higher as well the treble but dialed both down. NOTE: I can't really hear 16Khz anymore so I don't generally bother adjusting unless I can hear it change the sound...

Will have to do some A/B/C testing but pretty sure these are going to beat the Sony comfortably and I think likely the Elite 10 as well for SQ.

I can only go from memory but I think these already have more detail than the GB2P even without UHQ and they are less grainy sounding. I like the planar tweeter.

I find that the expansive sound stage and detail retrieval are fantastic on these. Make sure in the buds settings you have it turned on for it to adjust the sound to the fit in your ear. That seems to really improve the sound quality for me. I also have Dolby Atmos on in music setting.

My triumph finally arrived. They are the king by a decent margin. Keepers for sure, and they fit better than the Prestige, as the nozzle is not as wide. They're great. Hoping they add ANC with a software update in the future.

I use Atmos but just made sure it was set to music. I also do the hearing test there. So I set the EQ back balanced and rerun the test. Quite liking the sound after the little tweaks. Also toying with a basic v EQ like this.

Yes that setting.
Also I have also tweaked the bass a bit up and slight decrease around 1-2k.
I got the new fold so I have the uhq codec though not the source material lol.
Sound is so clear wide and full.

I have to admit more than a little frustrated yesterday when I figured it out. Had to wait 2 weeks only to find out I can't even get the max out of them yet...

Setting my first world whining aside...

The buds and the new Watch 7 both redeem Samsung a bit for me. If these both had been more of the humdrum updates I would have been pretty upset. But both actually seem like a pretty good step up with the GB3P being the bigger step up.

The GW7 with the new update now has 40-50 battery life when I charge it in the morning. So the update helped.

Is the ANC a feature they are promising???. They would need to have the 3 mics available on the hardware

I will only be able to comment on the Gbuds 3 Pro after making some calls and getting some feedback.

Are you using a Samsung high end phone or a different brand of Android? I am currently using an S23 Uktra that does not have the ability to do UHQ yet. So am limited to standard SSC or AAC and while limited can say these sound very good. But you will be limited to just AAC on anything other than Samsung so this needs to be considered.
