If I want to start a song over I just go back to the last one and go forward which gets you to the current song beginning if you catch my drift.

I have mine set to Random play. On other players you can go back and forwards while in this mode but with the S:Flo2 if you go back you get a completely different song and when you go forward you get another different song.

Just change the loop setting on the playback screen before the song finishes then. I'm pretty sure one of the 3 settings just loops the song, so change it to that before the song ends and then change it back once it's started.
