From Fiio E5 to PA2V2: is the upgrade worth it?

Both are great, but have their uses. I prefer the FiiO E5 for IEMs (by a good margin) and the PA2V2 for full sized cans (by a good margin).

the only reason to choose the e5 over the pa2v2 would be for portability. the e5 doesn't sound better than the pa2v2. the e5 is the perfect compliment for IEM's on the go.

Also, is E5 good enough for Monster beats Pro?

The e5 works for any and all headphones really. Poor decision getting the Beats. Coulda gotten a 600 Sennheiser or 325 grado for that price

Why sir, that was a wise comment.

What's all this nonsense about the PA2v2 not effecting quality? I have mine now and plan on upgrading to the little dot in the future, but for now it does a fantastic job.
