Both are great, but have their uses. I prefer the FiiO E5 for IEMs (by a good margin) and the PA2V2 for full sized cans (by a good margin).

the only reason to choose the e5 over the pa2v2 would be for portability. the e5 doesn't sound better than the pa2v2. the e5 is the perfect compliment for IEM's on the go.

Do you know where I can get soft lineout cable for E5? I have one from Fiio but it's kinda hard to curve it.

What kind of LO cable are you looking for? A normal one, like a 3.5mmx3.5mm? Or something to connect the E5 to an iPod?

What's all this nonsense about the PA2v2 not effecting quality? I have mine now and plan on upgrading to the little dot in the future, but for now it does a fantastic job.
